My car is a wonderful Black & Cream 1954 Riley RME with Cinnamon leather seats and is a much loved 70 year old – born the same year as me !!
My second available car is my beautiful cream 1968 Morris Minor Convertible. My white 1971 Morris Traveller affectionately known as Storming Norman can also join your day as a further wedding car if required.
Each car is available for a limited number of weddings each year and looks fantastic with Ribbons and with me driving dressed in 1950's / 1960's sporting style (tweeds) or a smart suit !
The services offered are
We can collect the Bride & Brides companion from a pickup point to your ceremony ( Our car arrives 15 minutes before the agreed departure time) this allows time for photos before you leave and we can also allow time for photos of your arrival in liaison with your photographer.
If you wish, we can wait until the conclusion of the formalities and allow time for photos of the bride & groom after the ceremony in liaison with your photographer
When the ceremony and reception are in the same place, as an option. we can take the Bride & Groom for a short drive after the ceremony ( normally 5 - 15 minutes) to unwind /relax and talk for a few minutes and then return to the venue ( This is highly recommended)
• A small bottle of champagne for the bride & groom ( with glasses) can be provided at an extra cost.
● If the ceremony and reception are in different places we can take you, on arrival we can wait for any photos you require & we can offer time for your guests to view the car.
Notes:
● This historic car has no seat belts
● Confetti can damage or stain the fabric /exterior of the historic vehicle and is not allowed inside or too close to the car !
● Drinks & wine spillages can stain the interior of the car (& your clothes too) so we stop for that and ask you not to eat/drink anything on the move please !
● As this is a historic vehicle we suggest that you have a standby car with a ribbon ( we can supply the ribbon free) ready at the pickup point in case there is a mechanical problem – it almost never happens but it tempts fate not to be prepared. We can usually provide this standby car if you wish.
2025 Pricing
If the pick up and destination is within 20 miles of Petworth and with an agreed itinerary the price is normally in the range £325 – £375.
Every Bride looks for different things - we understand this and can accommodate most demands !
Should you just wish for a simple Petworth pick up / drop off the price is about £275 Only a very short photo call time is allowed for on arrival at the drop off.(max 5 minutes)
All wedding car bookings require full prepayment to confirm.
