Zoe & James married at Upwaltham Barns 8th August 2025
"Upwaltham Barns was our dream venue. Throughout our planning process, no question was unanswered and no request was too much. We visited as often as we liked, met with our fantastic coordinator Kate and had regular communication from all teams. As we lead up to the day, the team were so clear in what we needed to do and super organised with paperwork and knowing what we wanted. The experience evening was amazing and made us feel so excited for our day. We loved trying the food and drinks, experiencing the barns at night and chatting with other couples.
On our wedding day, we both felt so calm knowing that our plans were under control and in the safe hands of the amazing team at Upwaltham. We can't thank the amazing Kate, Abbie, Ann and Nicola enough for their incredible effort on our special day. They made us both feel so relaxed and at home and did absolutely everything they could to make our day what we had dreamed of. It was absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly. Things happened that we had planned without us or our guests even knowing and someone was always there to help with any need. We couldn't believe how beautiful every aspect of the venue looked due to the attention to detail. So many guests commented on how stunning the venue was, how helpful all the staff were and how delicious the food by Nibbles2Nosh was. The Stable Bar team were equally amazing and both catered for all of our guests needs.
Thank you so much for making us feel so special, all of your hard work and kindness and for ensuring that our Wedding day was the absolute best day of our lives! Upwaltham Barns truly is a very special place!"

Upwaltham Barns is the prettiest barn wedding venue in the South of England. Two traditional Sussex flint long barns surrounded by flower-filled gardens, set in the South Downs National Park are perfect for a relaxed country wedding. Lovingly restored, Upwaltham Barns is family-owned and exudes a warmth and friendliness that has made it one of the most popular bespoke wedding barn venues in West Sussex.

The East Barn is fully licenced for civil ceremonies and partnerships. A light-filled special setting in which to exchange vows. Double doors lead out into a sheltered courtyard which is ideal for your drinks reception after the ceremony.

The South Barn is where you can dine and dance in an authentic rustic barn with candlelit flint stone walls, wrought iron chandeliers and a beautiful view of pretty English country gardens. The atmosphere is delightfully friendly and unique.
