Beautiful Spring colours reflected in a floral tribute we created yesterday

We are here for the happy and the not so happy times and it is always an honour to work with families to create floral tributes which reflect the life of their loved one and the way in which they are remembered.
Beautiful spring tones to reflect a gentleman who loved art and always showed a zest for life in all that he did

Hope you are all keeping safe and well in these crazy times

As some of you may already know, a few months ago I took the decision to leave our premises in Horndean and have relocated the business to lovely premises in East Meon

Due to ongoing restrictions, I am mainly home based but hope to be at our new premises on a more regular basis once ‘normality’ returns
In the meantime, I am still able to supply flowers, foliage and sundries on an order only basis which I am more than happy to deliver to you (assuming you live in the local area and subject to a minimum order of £50)

If I can be of any help in anyway, particularly in the lead up to Christmas, do give me a call on
023 9259 1422 or mobile 07849 237000

I hope to see as many of you as possible in the coming weeks and months and in the meantime take care and keep safe and well

Sally

Nursery Fresh is on the move ...

We hope you and all your families are keeping well in what are still very uncertain times for us all

In recent weeks we have made the decision to leave our premises in Horndean and re-locate to smaller premises nearby. Our new location is yet to be confirmed but we should be able to announce this in the next couple of weeks once everything is finalised

In the interim period, we are still contactable to discuss orders or any other requirements you may have either by calling us on our usual number 023 9259 1422 or by sending us a message

This was not an easy decision but one we feel is the right one for the future good of the company and all the customers we love to work with

We will update you further as soon as we can and, in the meantime, take care and please do not hesitate to get in touch as and when you need to

I have delayed in posting anything beforehand but I feel the time has come. It may be controversial but as a responsible business owner I feel I have to say it.
I have been asked on several occasions in the past few days why I am not open for business as it is understood that flowers can still be sourced in Holland and indeed many wholesalers have remained open.
Well one reason is that the florist I supply has closed - for reasons set out by the government. All cathedral and church services have been cancelled so they do not require flowers and similarly all weddings have been cancelled or postponed. This leaves the only real need for flowers being for funerals. Now whilst I would always prefer to see a coffin adorned with flowers what is sadder than a coffin without flowers is the death of the person inside that coffin. A death that took place without their loved ones at their side followed by a cremation or burial with no or few relatives in attendance.
We all have a moral obligation to help as many people around us survive and a moral obligation to beat this horrendous virus and get everyone’s lives back to as close to normal as we possibly can as soon as we possibly can.
The government has laid down strict guidelines as to what businesses are considered essential and moreover the reasons we can all leave our houses. Even speaking as a person who makes a living from flower supply, flowers are not currently an essential.
I know I risk putting a lot of noses out of joint with this post but I feel it has to be said.
We have a moral duty to look after those around us and if that means our businesses suffer then so be it. Life will go on in some way for us when this hideous situation is over but it won’t for those who lose their lives.
I absolutely love what I do and the industry I work in but I am not prepared to go against government. advice for the sake of making money.
If this post offends anyone my apologies but I just felt it had to be said
Keep safe everyone. At the end of the day this is the most important thing at the moment xx
