We have been providing keyholding and alarm response services in Peterborough for over 30 years. We have a fantastic team of Mobile Patrol Officers (MPO's) ready to respond to premises when time is of the essence!

We are quick to onboard new client's properties using our streamlined efficient processes, we focus on what matters in order to provide a quality service. It is all within the detail!

✅ We provide new clients with a set up guide to ensure the survey and risk assessment is quick, painless and hassle free.
✅ We load the premises on our dispatch software and ensuring the geo co-ordinates are correct so there are no delays from our MPO's finding the premises.
✅ We provide our team with clear concise easy to follow instructions to follow when attending site alarms to reduce the time required on site.
✅ We provide all round support for our MPO's and clients. Each of our rounds has mutual support from a nearby MPO when required. Our Control Room Officers are on hand to support the team when needed to ensure operational continuity of our services.
✅ We provide our clients with ongoing support; our friendly office team are always on hand and ready to help.

📢 Attention door supervisors and security guards!

This is a reminder that starting 1 April, all door supervisors and security guards must complete refresher training before renewing their licences.

You play an important role in the safety of the public and property across the UK. The refresher training (available since October 2024) focuses on safety-critical skills and includes new content on how to keep people in vulnerable situations safe.

Today (13 March 2025) we welcomed the news that the SIA is to come under the portfolio of the Minister of State for Security Dan Jarvis in the UK Home Office

In a joint statement issued today, our Chair, Heather Baily and Chief Executive, Michelle Russell, said:

“We very much welcome this move as it ensures that both functions of the SIA which include the existing regulation of the private security industry and the new Martyn’s Law regulator function complement each other. This will improve protective security and security standards at venues across the UK.

We also welcome the government’s intention to review the Manchester Arena Inquiry’s monitored recommendation 7 (removing the in-house licensing exemption) and monitored recommendation 8 (the introduction of business licensing) in the coming weeks.

We look forward to working with the Home Office and the UK private security industry and stakeholders to support the government’s missions to make the UK safer from terrorism and ‘taking back our streets’.”

Intacept Security has successfully passed it's 19th SIA ACS audit with one of the biggest uplifts on scoring in a 12 month period since registering way back in 2006!

We cover Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and part of Lincolnshire.

All of our mobile security rounds have been optimised to provide a quality response time for what is a shared service. Our rounds have been organised to ensure that mutual support is available from another mobile patrol officer when multiple alarm calls occur or an incident. This ensures operational continuity and enables our services to continue.
