FenHen Flowers Growing and selling cut flowers and eggs

10/08/2026

After such a wet winter, I didn’t expect my garden to look like this by August. I have already cleared the majority of my cut flower crops as they have finished flowering very early in this extreme heat. I am concentrating my efforts on the dahlias, zinnias and asters and I am praying for rain. Without drip irrigation, its impractical and prohibitively expensive to water everything by hand. I'll keep you updated on here when I have flowers available, but do message me if you would like flowers and if I can help you I will. Watch to the end to see a beautiful hand tied bunch which went out today. I'm already planning for next year, with weather extremes more common now, I'm thinking about what can I do to ensure I can continue to provide you with beautiful, scented homegrown flowers throughout the summer months.
As always, a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered from me or stopped by the stall.
I will soon be taking pre orders for decorated pumpkins, so get in touch if you're interested as they were incredibly popular last year.

I just LOVE seeing my flowers in their new homes!
There's not as many flowers as I'd like in my Cutting Garden right now (with no irrigation, it's just me and a watering can for a couple of hours every night!) but what there is, is truly beautiful 🌸

Message me if you would like to order and I'll try my best for you xx

I'm already planning next year's Cutting Garden and there's going to be even more beautiful, scented varieties to share with you πŸ’š Just please send rain!!

WOW! Thank you, thank you, thank you 😘
It's been an absolutely amazing week! Each and every order and sale from the stall means so much to me. The conditions for growing flowers this year are very challenging. High temperatures every day for what feels like weeks and a very prolonged dry spell, mean long days and hard work to keep the flowers coming. All the orders, the messages saying you love the flowers, the delight on the faces of the recipients make every second of the hard work worthwhile.
My Cutting Garden now needs a few days to recover (and so do I!) but please do message if you are looking for flowers the week after next.

A couple of tips to care for your posies if you are buying them as a gift for someone:
Bring a jar of water with you when you come to collect your flowers - or let me know if you need one to take away.
Keep your flowers in cool water, in a cool place and out of direct sunlight until you are ready to gift them.
Try to keep them in water as long as you can before handing them to the recipient.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered flowers for this week, I'm loving making up your orders

It was truly magical in my Cutting Garden at first light this morning on the Summer Solstice πŸ’«
The flowers are looking absolutely stunning and I'm so pleased to be able to share them with you.
The stall often sells out very quickly, in half an hour this morning! (I did restock) so please do message me to guarantee your flowers.
