After such a wet winter, I didnβt expect my garden to look like this by August. I have already cleared the majority of my cut flower crops as they have finished flowering very early in this extreme heat. I am concentrating my efforts on the dahlias, zinnias and asters and I am praying for rain. Without drip irrigation, its impractical and prohibitively expensive to water everything by hand. I'll keep you updated on here when I have flowers available, but do message me if you would like flowers and if I can help you I will. Watch to the end to see a beautiful hand tied bunch which went out today. I'm already planning for next year, with weather extremes more common now, I'm thinking about what can I do to ensure I can continue to provide you with beautiful, scented homegrown flowers throughout the summer months.
As always, a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered from me or stopped by the stall.
I will soon be taking pre orders for decorated pumpkins, so get in touch if you're interested as they were incredibly popular last year.
