For a wedding last Saturday, we were asked by our friends at to bring our ivory aisle runner along when we bowed the chairs for their couple. I LOVE our runner in the Lincoln Suite - it really lifts it

Thank you for asking us to look after this for your couple😍

Last week, we looked after a small, intimate wedding for L&P.

We met each other a few months ago at the wedding fayre. L saw our majestic purple drapes and immediately fell in love with the colour πŸ’œ she asked us if we had a sash that matched, and we do!

Our wisteria trees were also on the couples "must have" list too - what a gorgeous look.

Thank you for asking us to look after this element of your wedding.

I'm working in descending date order on the wedding spam.

First up: S&D - possibly the calmest, most relaxed couple I think I've come to meet.

They came to meet me a couple months ago, with ideas for a soft, romantic, delicate wedding with their closest people in attendance. The new classic of sage green finishes and lots of flowers.
They wanted to use our traditional floral arch to get married under, and to have it moved behind their sweetheart table to frame them for the wedding breakfast. The ceremony table flower arrangement was also relocated to the sweetheart table, where we'd also created a table swag.

We laid our aisle runner through the middle of the room; starting the aisle with our brand new flower meadows, and set our medium floral arrangements down the aisle. All of the flower arrangements were relocated after the ceremony to make the most of them - meadows sat in front of the sweetheart table, and the medium arrangements were placed on the tables (upstairs) for the evening reception.

We dressed the ceremony chairs with a single drape, finished with white rose, and these were relocated downstairs after the ceremony for the wedding breakfast.

On the tables for the wedding breakfast, we placed our new flower crowns on a slim sage chiffon table runner, and set our vase trios inside.

For the outside of the venue, S&D asked for fairy lights on the balcony and stairwell - this looks so nice in the evening, and aside from my fingers losing the ability to pinch grip when we were attaching them (it was seriously chilly that night!), it was absolutely worth it.
They also asked us to create a flower arch for the entrance. This is what I was most nervous about, but when we were finished, I was SO happy with it, and I think it looks beautiful 😍

I think that's everything.

Thank you to The Old Nene Golf and Country Club for being so accommodating of us as the amount of time we required on site.

Thank you to Amber's Bakes and Cakes for recommending us

Thank you S&D for your trust in us. We are so grateful πŸ₯°

A short clip of a wedding we recently looked after at
This clip shows the makeover of the downstairs of the venue for wedding breakfast (images of ceremony and other decor will follow).

We relocated our arch, flower meadows and the ceremony chairs were brought down too, to sit around tables which we decorated with slim chiffon runners, flower crowns with vase trios, and the lesser spotted swag on the sweetheart table.

S&D were absolutely wonderful to work for, and I LOVED their vision for this venue - so much so, that I'm thinking about making it a newly available package for this venue...
The flowers were romantic and delicate.
The couple were simply ADORABLE from our first contact, to ensuring I definitely got a cake and some sweeties on the day of the wedding.
Daniel looked amazing in his very nice suit - not many people can get away with wearing soft colours, but you, Daniel looked amazing.
Sophie looked absolutely FLAWLESS 🀩.
They have a super cute doggie too.

Thank you for asking us to look after this for you.

Crikey, it's been a busy month!
In the last calendar month, we've looked after 14 wedding styling bookings, a photobooth booking, and a wedding fayre.

I've been pretty rubbish at uploading the images to social media, so prepare for the photo-dumping that awaits you. I have some STUNNERS to share with you 🀩

We really appreciate everyone's understanding and patience when we are busy.
It's not just time onsite at the venues dressing them up inside, it's the loading/unloading/reloading of the vans at silly o'clock in the night; pressing of chair dressings while dinner is cooking; replacing 7 billion batteries in candles when we need them; stacking, unstacking and placing pads on Chiavari chairs; tying light strings to banisters in 6Β° temperatures when our fingers have lost the ability to pinch grip; and somewhere along the way, trying to remember to find time to hydrate.

This is not anything other than me wanting to manage people's expectations as to why it might take a little longer for us to respond to emails with detail instead of just a thrown together response to "suffice". You deserve time and attention, and so, when you do receive a reply, you know it has been done with care.
We naturally have to put the physical jobs first - as you would expect, because they simply cannot wait. When you book with us, you pay to receive an excellent, smooth service on the day, and sometimes that comes at the cost of waiting a little longer for your correspondence beforehand - but I give you my word - it'll be worth it. πŸ₯°

Admittedly, I've taken a little bit of time out over the past few weeks, as I'm training for the Moonwalk Marathon next weekend with a friend (I'm sure I could've chosen a different way to commemorate my birthday, but here we are πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ).

Soon, I'll have a little time back to myself to catch up.

Thanks again,
Carly x

Wedding number two from the weekend:

A bright, vibrant, colourful celebration for J&N - the most adorable couple (they achieved bonus points for fostering ALLLLLLL of the doggies πŸ₯Ή). I knew from the moment I met them both that this wedding was going to be super cute.

They had a plan in mind, and arrived armed with numerous sample cards of colours they were planning on incorporating into their day. We collectively decided 5 colours would work best with regard to the layout of the room. J asked me to place them "randomly - just wherever they go" πŸ˜³πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« Anyone who knows me will know that I simply cannot do that without combusting 🀯🫣 but I did ensure they weren't "too" linear in their placement.
I personally think it looks fab, and it was exciting for us to do something a little against the grain and "out there".

We also provided the aisle runner and the bay trees.

Sadly, I didn't manage to get any images post ceremony, but I saw the venue at the end of the night and I just knew it worked so well.

This wedding was over spilling with love and cuteness.

Thank you for trusting us with your vision, and allowing us the privilege to play with this colour explosion πŸ₯°

Wedding number 1 from the weekend was for A&L at
This one has been booked with us for a fair while. There was a late change to the original plan with the colour scheme (originally blush pink and sage green) to burnt orange and navy with the smallest hint of deep green. This tied in far more with the grooms party suits.

We took our chiavari chairs and dressed with single drapes and white roses to finish. We also provided an aisle runner and extra aisle decor (lanterns and petals); table centrepieces of vase trios on logs with chiffon puddle); and 4ft rose trees that were used for both the aisle end and then to complete the sweetheart table set.

I'm no photographer, sadly, but here are the images I captured.

Thank you A&L for trusting us with your styling and vision. x
