Here are Saint John's Ladies Group. It was especially great to do a show for them the other Tuesday - for the third time! - since we went to St John's the whole time we lived in Peterborough, so I know them all well, as you can imagine. Not only a show but a bit of a reunion!

I keep trying to thank each one of you individually for your birthday wishes, but there were so many that it's going to be impossible. Thank you so much - everybody - for thinking of me. I did nothing all day except go to the Flat Iron for steak and wine in the evening. And it was marvellous! Thank you for making my day. ###

OK, so this isn't a picture of the Rock Road Street Party, at which I was asked to do walk Around Magic for four hours on Saturday 6th September. It's one of their other parties - but it's blurred, which means you can't see any of the children who were there - or much of the adults, for that matter. We're advised not to show any children on Facebook, because their images can be doctored, misused and shared in places where harm can be done to them. What a vile society we live in where you can't be shown the sheer delight on the faces of these children and adults who were such fun. I've never done a walk around like this before, but, after this one - give me more!

Werrington Friendship Club asked me back last Tuesday. This was the third show I've done for them, so am getting to see everyone as old friends. They were, as always, a sheer joy to be with, and, as this was a completely new show, there couldn't have been a better audience. I'm sorry there's only a picture of the entrance to the building but I forgot to ask them for a group photo. Never mind - take it from me - they're a lovely looking lot!
