We were delighted to welcome the 48th Fife Cubs to our headquarters on Friday!

The value of pre-production and test builds.

To keep things running smoothly when we hit the venue, our team invested the time to test build this structure with curved LED screen right here in our new facility.

This allows theories to be checked and challenges to be discovered before the valuable site time; contributing towards a smoother event.

Awesome work by the crew getting this one locked in and ready for showtime!

It was a pleasure to host Area Four Industries UK for two sessions of EXE Technology Basic Maintenance training at our HQ.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. It was great to welcome you all, share knowledge and get hands-on with the EXE equipment.

From drawing to build, every detail gets considered.

A successful installation starts with good preparation.

Here, our workshop team are working through the drawings and discussing the build before production gets underway. Close communication between our designers and joiners means the details can be considered from both a design and practical point of view, helping to ensure the finished build is both well considered and achievable.

Where needed, we’ll test-build projects in the workshop first - giving the team the opportunity to check details, resolve any challenges and make sure everything works as intended before it reaches site.

Good communication, practical thinking and a team who know how to make it work.

Custom Outdoor LED Archway at The Hub for Edinburgh International Festival 🛠️

We were delighted to support the Edinburgh International Festival (EIF) with this striking outdoor LED archway at The Hub.

Working on installations within Edinburgh’s historic streets often comes with unique technical challenges. For this project, Catalyst provided and rigged the Absen PL3.9 outdoor LED screen, as well as supplying the Layher truss adapter, helping bring the finished installation to life.

The overall archway was designed and engineered by EIF, with their team also completing the truss build, cladding and content creation.

Catalyst’s role included:

• LED Screen: Absen PL3.9 Outdoor LED Screen Panels supplied by Catalyst
• Screen Rigging: Installation and rigging completed by our specialist team
• Truss Equipment: Layher truss adapter supplied by Catalyst
• Technical Delivery: Our experienced riggers and video technicians ensured the LED system was safely installed and ready to deliver high-impact event content.

It was fantastic to play our part in delivering this high-impact installation, combining EIF’s bespoke design and engineering with Catalyst’s specialist LED and rigging expertise.

A great example of collaboration, technical precision and creative delivery coming together for one of Edinburgh’s most iconic cultural events.

Meet the Team - Daniel

We're delighted to welcome Daniel to the Catalyst team as a Warehouse Operative.

Before joining Catalyst, Daniel gained experience in the aviation industry, also working within a warehouse environment, where he developed a strong work ethic and valuable operational skills. Since joining the team, his positive attitude, willingness to learn, and proactive approach have made a great impression, and he's quickly become a valued member of our warehouse operation.

At Catalyst, we know our people make the difference, and we're delighted to have Daniel on board. We're excited to see him continue to develop and make a positive contribution in his new role.

As the championship celebrates its 50th staging at the iconic Royal Lytham & St Annes, we're proud to have partnered with The R&A to help bring Golf It! to life for this fantastic event.

Back in 2023, we were tasked with designing and building a bespoke crazy golf experience, along with custom interactive features and event installations, creating a fun and engaging space for fans to enjoy throughout the championship. This is Golf It!'s fourth appearance at the Festival Village, and our team was once again on hand to install these fantastic activations for families and golf enthusiasts alike.

We are delighted to see everything in place ahead of what promises to be an incredible week of golf, and we'd like to wish the very best of luck to everyone competing in this year's AIG Women's Open. Here's to a memorable championship!
