Posting on behalf of Kongo-ryu Perth. - Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu Perth Dojo held their annual summer course in the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute’s Memorial Hall on Saturday.

Participants came from Perth, Glasgow, Glenrothes and Forfar including high ranking karate instructors and participants from Itosu-ryu, Gojo-ryu and Shotokan karate do.

Come along to our kobudo classes at the RDMI held on the last Saturday of every month (unless notified otherwise). You don’t need to practice karate to enjoy the benefits of kobudo. Everyone welcome. Regardless of age. Expert instruction by Charles Hunter sensei, Chief Instructor of Kongo-ryu Scotland and who learned directly under the founder of Kongo-ryu and his son. So this is kobudo straight from the source over two generations.
