Buzzing with Life at Inchtuthill! 🐝🦌🦅

Inchtuthill is bursting with life this year and is a true haven for wildlife, flora, and fauna alike!

This morning brought the peaceful sight of deer grazing in the fields and the hum of bees buzzing among the wild roses.

It’s a wonderful reminder of the beauty and richness of our wild spaces of which we have a responsibility to nurture and protect.

And of course there is so much on our doorstep from the local farm shop: Blackhaugh Community Farm and wonderful local coffee shop: Walkin'cafe - both in the local village of Spittalfield.

On Sunday we visited the The Barrie Box Farm Shop in Angus for berry ice cream and some locally made goodies from granola to marshmallows and the usual fruit and vegetables - yum!

It’s changeover day and we’re getting everything ready to welcome our next lovely guests (and their gorgeous doggy 🐾) back later today. We can’t wait to share this peaceful little corner of the world with them again!

It’s finally starting to feel like Easter! Spring has returned after that unexpected warm spell, and the fresh evening air is lovely! A beautiful rainbow, a hare or two and a few roe deer on my walk this evening - pure magic. ☺️
