Find comfort in Chansons' Christmas Concert, featuring Rossini's 'La Nuit de Noël' ; a musical retelling of the Christmas Story. ⭐

Illuminating the Vale of Virtue: Perth’s Lost Charterhouse | Thursday 20 November

Join Dr Lucy Dean for the Third Rhoda Fothergill Memorial Lecture and discover the latest on the on Perth Charterhouse Project.

Explore new findings from historical research and results from the initial phase of Ground-Penetrating Radar (GRP) scan of the site in September 2024.

The lecture will also share future plans for the project, with a focus on community involvement.

This free event will be held in the Soutar Theatre, AK Bell Library, York Place, Perth on Thursday 20 November at 7pm.

Discover the new light on Perth's lost charterhouse in this fantastic Rhoda Fothergill Memorial Lecture.

This lecture explores two interconnected strands of research ongoing as part of the Perth Charterhouse project. It will explore new insights arising from both research into the documentary evidence (both held at the NRS and Perth & Kinross Archives) and results of our initial phase of Ground-Penetrating Radar (GRP) scanning of the site in September 2024 (undertaken by AOC Archaeology, with support from Gavin Lindsay, All Ages Ltd., and financial support from the Strathmartine Trust).
