✨ The Reasons You Should Not Book Me as Your Celebrant
(…unless you want a ceremony with heart, story and intention, whatever the occasion)

A one‑size‑fits‑all ceremony
If you want the same script used for every couple, every family, every goodbye, I’m not your person. II tailor every ceremony to the humans at the centre of it.

Someone who avoids emotion,
If you don’t want laughter in a wedding, tenderness in a naming, or compassion in a funeral, then you’ll hate my approach. I honour the real feelings in the room.

A stranger who doesn’t get to know you
If you prefer a celebrant who turns up knowing nothing about your story, your people or your person, I’m the wrong choice. Connection is my foundation.

A ceremony with no storytelling
If you don’t want your love story told, your child’s welcome celebrated, or your loved one’s life honoured with meaning, then I’m not thecelebrant for you.

A quick, transactional service
If you want someone who rushes through weddings, skim‑reads naming scripts, or speeds through a eulogy, you’ll be disappointed. I give every ceremony the time and care it deserves.

A ceremony with no personality
If you prefer bland, beige or forgettable, I’m not your match. Whether it’s joyful, tender or reflective, I shape the atmosphere with intention and compassion.

Bargain-basement option
If you’re choosing purely on price, I won’t be the cheapest. My work is bespoke, crafted and deeply human, across every ceremony I offer.

Someone who blends into the background If you want a ceremony people forget the moment it’s over, I’m not the one. I create experiences that stay with people — whether they’re celebrating, welcoming or saying goodbye.

If you had to caption this, what would you write?

At the weekend I was honoured to attend a Blessingway, a gentle, sacred celebration that surrounds a mama‑to‑be with love, strength and support as she prepares for birth.

We shared rituals, wise words, belly painting, and each of us received a candle to light when her labour begins… keeping them glowing until her baby arrives safely earthside 🌎✨

A truly beautiful circle to be part of ❤️.

What Made Me Want to Be a Celebrant?

I became a celebrant because I’ve always felt pulled toward the moments that matter,
The beginnings.
The goodbyes.
The milestones that change us.

I wanted to create ceremonies that don’t just tick a box, but actually mean something.
Ceremonies where people feel seen.
Where their story is honoured.
Where emotion is allowed to exist exactly as it is.

I do this work because I believe every person deserves a moment that feels held with care, warm, personal, and true to who they are.

If you want a ceremony that feels like you, heartfelt, grounded, and full of meaning, I’d be honoured to create it with you.

Every day, I’m reminded that the smallest moments often hold the greatest meaning.
A glance. A hand held. A story shared. A promise spoken softly.

These are the threads that stitch a life together and it’s an honour to stand in the spaces where those threads meet.

Whether it’s a beginning, a farewell, or a chapter somewhere in between, I believe every moment deserves to be witnessed with care, intention, and heart.

Here’s to the stories we carry, the love we honour, and the ceremonies that remind us what truly matters

✨ A Simple Guide to Writing Your Wedding Vows

Writing your wedding vows can be daunting work with a structure and it will be a breeze ❤️

1. Start with a moment
Think of a memory, a feeling, or the moment you knew they were “your person.”
This sets the tone beautifully.

2. Acknowledge your journey
What have you built together?
What have you learned?
What makes your relationship yours?

3. Say what you love about them
Their qualities, quirks, or the ways they make you feel at home.

4. Make your promises
A mix of heartfelt and practical vows works best.
Think:
“I promise to listen with patience.”
“I promise to choose you in the small everyday ways.”

5. End with a grounding line
Something simple and true:
“Today, I choose you.”
“This is my vow to you.”

A gentle reminder:
Your vows don’t need to be perfect — they just need to be yours. Honest, human, and spoken from the heart.
