17 guests, a wedding morning sea swim and dinner beneath the stars... ✨

Charlotte & Phil kept their wedding at The Cornish Place beautifully small, giving them the freedom to fill the day with things that meant the world to them.

Their guests shared wishes for their marriage during the ceremony, witnesses were picked from a cricket hat, Charlotte’s mum handmade place names from vintage maps, and the newlyweds planted a tree together as the sun went down.

Then came dinner in the Glasshouse, drinks around the firepit and a silent disco to finish. A gorgeous reminder of just how special a small wedding can be.

Big news from one of Cornwall’s loveliest wedding venues 🌿🤍

Andi Freeman is officially B Corp certified, recognising the work owners Andi and Adam have put into creating beautiful celebrations while caring for the countryside around them.

And this goes far beyond a badge. More than 2,000 trees have been planted across the farm, produce is sourced locally and grown on-site where possible, renewable energy is used throughout, and every couple even gets a tree to plant as a lasting reminder of their wedding day.

All of this comes with 26 acres of Cornish countryside and wonderfully intimate weddings for up to 24 guests.

Before Gemma even walked down the aisle, she had everyone crying... 🤍

She surprised Connor and their guests with a pre-recorded voice note, featuring their one-year-old daughter laughing and saying “dada”. Safe to say, it became one of the most talked-about moments of the day.

The rest of their summer wedding at Quantock Lakes was just as gorgeous, with sage green styling, an outdoor ceremony on the flower-filled pontoon, live music in the sunshine, a silent disco, late-night pizza and sparklers to finish.

US designer Hayley Paige has arrived at Coastal Bridal in Mevagissey, bringing her seriously gorgeous ‘wearable art’ to Cornwall.

The new gowns include dimensional florals, sculptural corsetry, petal-strewn skirts, a dreamy lavender ballgown and Silver Springs, complete with meteorite-inspired beading that glows after dark.
