One of our favourite things about our venue is just how much space there is to make your wedding day your own 🍂🎶

Tucked away in the Cumbrian countryside, our venue is full of character, with beautiful old farm buildings, a 16th century barn and plenty of spaces to enjoy throughout your celebrations.

With room for up to 150 guests, there’s so much flexibility in how you choose to spend your day.

Our beautiful 16th-century barn is a lovely setting for your wedding breakfast, while our adjoining theatre space is perfect for live music, DJs and dancing the night away! 🎶

Then there’s our courtyard, one of our favourite spots for welcome drinks, catching up with guests and gathering around as the evening draws in.

We also have a spacious foyer, licensed bar and accommodation on site for those wanting to make a little more of their celebrations.

What makes Upfront so special is that every couple can use the spaces differently. From the quieter moments to the big celebrations, there’s room for it all.

And we absolutely love seeing how each wedding comes together! 🥂

One day. So many memories 🥂

A wedding is not just the ceremony or the first dance. It is the morning getting ready, the guests arriving, the little chats, the food, the music, the laughter and all the moments you probably did not even plan for.

At Upfront, couples have space to spend the day properly with their favourite people. The venue has a relaxed, family run feel, with accommodation on site and plenty of room for celebrations, live music and a day that feels personal from start to finish.

It all goes quickly but the memories last much longer 💍

One thing your guests will definitely remember… the food 🍷🍴

Food has always been a big part of what we do here at Upfront. Everything is cooked right here on site, with a completely vegetarian menu and plenty of thought going into what we serve.

From welcome drinks and canapés while everyone catches up, to sitting down together in our 16th-century barn for the wedding meal, we love that food becomes such a big part of the day.

And yes, dietary requirements can absolutely be catered for too.

Good food, full tables and all your favourite people together… exactly how a wedding should feel 🍂

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s 🤍

At Upfront, there’s so much freedom to make the day work around you. Get married elsewhere and come back to us for the celebrations, food, accommodation and a night in our 16th-century barn or say your vows outside surrounded by the Cumbrian countryside or bring everything together inside 🍂

Stay on site with your favourite people, make a weekend of it and use the different spaces in whatever way feels right for you. That’s what we love about weddings here. There isn’t one set way to do them.
