What a beautiful day at Fairbank Wedding Barn meeting lots of already-booked and prospective brides and grooms (and hanging out with Clare’s mum all day too!). Clare’s venue is SO gorgeous - spacious, comfortable and in glorious surroundings and with such a down-to-earth, solid Cumbrian feel to it. A rare gem of a place! 🥰
Really looking forward to this season now I’ve put my first tent up!

Last Friday at Withnail & I was glorious!

Keep forgetting to post anything on fb, life is busy enough razzing about in vans and making beautiful dens, taking care of a home and a small child etc eh?! It’s pretty special to be able to get these summer evenings in magical places with a small crowd of some of humanity’s finest folk ❤️

Evening all, just a quick note to say that we have almost finished being on the road/in a field for this summer and admin related activity will resume next week.

We are a VERY small team (1 rising to 2-3 part time in summer!) here and we do our best to make sure that costs do not have to spiral, so sometimes we are just a bit slow.. we will always deliver at events and maintain the important standards of cleanliness, timeliness and friendliness though 🥰

Meantime, a fairly unusual API/token issue between PayPal and Woocommerce seems to have arisen, so if anyone happens to have encountered this in their own work/business and has any amazing suggestions, it would be great to hear from you! It is currently thwarting us… web team and PayPal support teams both on it.

New events will be added over the course of the rest of the month, including The Big Retreat Wales 2023 and EskFest.

Last wedding set up of the season (unless there’s an emerging last minute booking yet to come!) at this stunning site.
The rain has stopped, we’ve been brought a coffee and our new 5m tents are looking good!

What a season - thanks everyone for your bookings, custom, childcare, support, fun and good nature. It’s never taken for granted just HOW brilliant our customers are and my crew would vouch for me when I say that EVERY time I put down the phone to a client/customer I say ‘we have SUCH NICE CUSTOMERS!’

It takes a lot to make a lovely life and having a fun business in a beautiful part of the world certainly accounts for about 75% I reckon.

Big day today, setting up in this most gigantic of back gardens!!
This is rolled-over booking number billionty-six of the summer.. nice to finally get their party set up and long-awaited celebrations can begin in earnest!

What would you choose for the arrival drinks though? Pimms? Fizz? Maybe just a nice cold Becks?… and elderflower fizz for the non-alcofrolic people?
