Penrith is set to turn on its Christmas lights with a sparkling event this weekend.

Hello! We are joining in this year's Christmas Sparkle light switch on event this Saturday, November 16th. Penrith Library will have a children's story time between 1.30pm and 2pm and then a festive card making drop in between 2pm and 3pm! No need to book, just head to the children's area in Penrith Library.

We also need anyone visiting Penrith Library to colour in some hands! Now let me explain... The team from Penrith BID and Penrith Town Council will be making Christmas trees out of hands for their branches. So let's make these trees really full and colour in a hand today!

Cassette Baby are an originals band who have built a following combining a mixture of 1960’s and 1970’s guitar influences with percussive sounds influenced from around the world . Stir in some unique cover versions of old classics from a bygone era and mix it all together!

Due to a few circumstances, we are struggling to get a full number of awesome tractors along for the parade.

Soooo… please help us! We would love any type of cool vehicle to doll up and join in the fun!
