What an incredible day at IRONMAN Wales! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️🍕

A huge congratulations to every athlete who pushed through yesterday’s dreadful weather to take on one of the toughest challenges around. Your determination was unbelievable!

The Pembs Pizza Co team was proud to be there, cooking for around 3,000 finishing athletes, event staff and volunteers, including pizzas for the leading racers! From under our tent to the finishers’ area, it was a full-on day, but the atmosphere made every minute worthwhile.

A massive well done to everyone who competed, supported and helped make the event happen. We hope those finish-line pizzas tasted as good as that finisher’s jersey felt! 🏅🍕

The Wales Finisher Catering Team 2023/2024/2025! 🍕💪

After athletes push themselves to swim 2.4miles, cycle for 112, and run an additional full marathon (26.2miles), the last thing they want to do is eat heavy, bloating food....

That's where we come in, waiting at the finish line to cook them the freshest, hot and most tasty neopolitan pizza. >>> Light fluffy crust, tomato sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes (picked from the slopes of Mt Vesuvius, Naples) and fresh mozzarella. All to help athletes refuel.

This is our third year being chosen as official athlete caterer for Ironman Wales and we're so grateful for the opportunity and welcome the responsibility the occasion brings.

Looking forward to seeing the finishers in 2026!

Today our team prepped enough dough to feed the thousands of Ironman Wales finishers at Sunday's massive race!

For the third year running Pembs Pizza Co will feed athletes the most fresh authentic stone baked pizza in Wales!
