Itâs that time again where we fire out a massive thank you post and try mention as much as we can!
So from both Crazy Steve and Mad Mak, we would like to thank everyone who has helped or donated at this years WSWR!!
Without the volunteers, this event couldnât happen and it would not have grown from its very small humble beginnings in 2019 to the colossal carnage itâs fast becoming!
The WSWR is a fund raiser for Cornwall Hospice
Remembering Jason Bragg who lost his life at a young age!
We have all been affected by loss or had a friend / family member in the hospice, so we are also fund raising for all of us.
The images attached are all the people who have helped this year!
Ian Saucy Lawson gets a double mention as he also donated the trophies this year!
Thank you to the Braggy Twins for coming on stage to award the Braggy award! Always a special moment.
Special mention goes out to Gary Thomas, who dug us out of a hole Thursday evening when the headline act didnât turn up. By the end of the event, Gary had played the stage 4 times, solo, as a blues duet and as part of Big Fish.
We are renaming all future stages at the WSWR, the Gary Thomas Stage!

Thank you to H from B&H, who is battling his own illness, wouldnât miss the Rally and took to the Mic for a Dreckly boys performance and the always infamous and outrageous Auction!!
The Auction does raise quite a lot for the hospice so we thank everyone for their patience as this sometimes runs on. BUT the rewards is huge for our donation!
Thank you for everyone understanding that Saturdays timetable had to roll on and was pushed back due to a bad weather forecast, we also had an accident on site with the ambulance in attendance.
This forced us to push and rearrange events to suit. It caused some delays but we could see spirits still remained high!
Special thoughts and prayers go to Rob, the Drummer from point blank who suffered a major loss while playing on stage. We have no words for your loss and if you need anything from us (Maka / Steve) please let us know!
Thank you to Project 83who cleared the yard and opened the motorcycle lounge in Newquay to allow the Rally rudder to ride through as part of our Friday 90 mile circuit! Hope you all enjoyed that one!
