Live Ceremony Painting at an intimate French-English wedding at Dumfries House ❤️ What a gorgeous venue to paint, full of art and history, and Fabienne and Andrew got the most beautiful weather - I was lucky to do some of the painting outside, accompanied by birdsong and a dreamy scent of various Spring blossoms - lilac, wisteria and much more. Congratulations F&A! ✨

The bride came to us with a clear vision and it has been such a pleasure to bring it to life for her. Sarah wanted library-card inspired hard-cover luxury stationery, all hand-crafted by us in-house, in her chosen colours, with a bespoke hand-drawn wedding crest featuring her most loved flowers. Hard-cover dinner menus, harmonica seating chart, table numbers and vow booklets 💌✨ oh and little honey jar labels!

Three separate, independent enquiries. One special wedding 💌

First, the lovely bride reached out over a year ago about her Save the Dates. Then came these gorgeous Invitations, followed by on-the-day stationery for what became a truly beautiful wedding weekend at Thirlestane Castle.

Along the way, their wedding planner also got in touch, independently, about Live Guest Illustration for the celebration. And later, the groom’s father contacted us about a bespoke painting commission as a wedding gift!

To be approached three separate times by different people connected to the same wedding, without any of them knowing we were already involved, honestly felt very special, and something we felt incredibly honoured by ❤️

This invitation suite features our hand-drawn map of Scotland, handmade paper details card, venue illustration, crest and soft ribbons ✨. Being part of the celebration itself over two days of live painting made it all the more memorable for us 🖌️

Menus for a beautiful wedding at Cliveden House - finished with an intricate hand-drawn illustration of the venue in gold foil. Each featured a hand-written place card “tag” in white ink, and bespoke wax seals with the couple’s initials. The card we use for our luxury menus is ultra-thick 700gsm and 100% cotton, which feels beautiful and tactile ✨

We were delighted to also create fabulous velvet wedding invitations for D&O’s wedding, and some thoughtful day-of items, working closely with who planned this wedding to perfection!

Today’s very special wedding - I started sketching at a lovely church in Ardrossan, overlooking Arran, and I took a few reference photographs discreetly during the mass. Then I drove 10 minutes and continued painting the ceremony scene at the reception venue. It was truly a fantastic day and I feel privileged to be working with the kindest people.

I wonder if I will ever stop feeling a bit emotional when I see the bride walking down the aisle! ❤️ I don’t know what it is, I just feel how special that moment is for her and the loved ones.

Soft lilac pastels, printed vellum, and the loveliest little details throughout – this Summer invitation suite was such a joy to create!

Custom-shaped details cards with website & RSVP information, finished with the couple’s own wax stamp, added that extra personal touch that makes everything feel truly theirs.

And a little full-circle moment — the bride is the sister of one of our past brides, though this suite took on a completely different style 💌 It is always so special to be trusted again in this way.

Working with such warm, kind people is one of the best parts of what I do! ❤️

Being a bit more vulnerable on here for once! It doesn’t come easy but I think we all like to see the real person behind a small business, so I hope you don’t mind this slightly different type of post! 💌

Over the past few years, Wedding Artwork has grown into something I am incredibly proud of, thanks to the trust and support of the most wonderful wedding stationery and live painting couples, fabulous planners and venues. This year, I am gently returning to my original vision — a slower, more personal way of working, with fewer bookings and more time for each couple. It feels like the right balance, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far! ❤️💌✨

A beautiful sunny day at Glenbervie House for Lucy and Finlay’s wedding. They were such a lovely couple to work with, and it was a real joy to capture this moment from their ceremony — with their adorable pup included, of course!

This live watercolour ceremony painting was created during the day and framed on the spot in a bespoke ornate frame chosen by the couple. A personal keepsake from a very special celebration in Scotland.

Earlier this year I had the joy of illustrating a series of Christmassy buildings — our own home, and these six charming hotels for RAD Hotel Group: Brig o’Doon, Dalmeny Park, Hetland, Lochside, Seamill Hydro and Fairfield.

It was such a lovely project to imagine each one dressed for the season, with wreaths on doors, twinkling lights, and a gentle dusting of snow — brought to life through my artwork ✨❤️

This suite for a S&C Scottish wedding at Carlowrie Castle balanced richness and softness — a deep racing green invitation card paired with sandstone and ivory tones, finished with delicate gold foiling that catches the light so beautifully.

Inside is a hand-drawn map of Scotland to get the guests even more excited! Because when your wedding is set in a place as timeless as this, your stationery should feel the same — setting the tone for a day you have poured your heart into ✨💌
