We also team up with other passionate producers to bring epic cheese tasting collaborations - check out our upcoming exciting events!🧀😋 Let us chat everything cheese in the comfort of your own home or venue. We bring it all to you! All you have to do is enjoy the finest selection of cheese that comes from the South

West! We can cater for any event including parties, work do's, retirement do's, birthdays, special occasions, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, divorce parties and Hen and Stag do's. We offer bespoke tailor made tastings or below is a price guide. We will give you an amazing cheese tasting experience which includes Cheese Queens presenting 6 incredible cheeses, homemade sourdough bread, local chutneys, crackers and accompaniments. Minimum of 12 people - £25pp

Marie has always had a passion for food (in particular cheese). Working at what was Combe House near Honiton she took chatting about the Westcountry Cheeseboard to another level - to the point where all of her colleagues would always give her the cheeseboard to explain to the customers. She was obviously always at the cheese tastings that the amazing Country Cheeses provided to Combe House. From there she tried her luck and asked if there were any jobs going to Gary and Elise Jungheim (the owners of Country Cheeses). Unfortunately there weren't at that time but they had a chat with her anyway and that was that for the moment. Marie decided her passion did lie with cheese so she went on to work at the fantastic Sharpham vineyard and dairy in Totnes serving cheese and doing wine tastings. Gary and Elise contacted Marie a few months later and offered her the dream job! Cheese shop manager in Totnes! Of course she took it and loved working for Gary and Elise at Country Cheeses. She had the most incredible opportunities and they drove to the Westcountry dairies and chatted with all of the outstanding Cheesemakers who make the awesome cheese you will have on your cheeseboards today. In December 2015 Marie fell pregnant......

In March 2016 Elise joined the team at Country Cheeses in Totnes. Having never been a cheese connoisseur she was trained to within an inch of her life by Marie and slowly but surely also fell deeply in love with all kinds of different cheeses (well, who wouldn't?) As soon as Marie met Elise she knew they were going to be great friends and also that she was the perfect person to take over as manager at the Totnes shop (even though she had just started....) This was meant to be! Poor Elise was hijacked by Marie and asked if she would be interested in being manager as she was pregnant (weeks after just starting). In hindsight probably Marie should have waited a bit longer before scaring the life out of Elise BUT Elise was up for it. Elise and Marie both rallied hard to make Country Cheeses WIN 1st place as cheese shop of the year at the Great British Cheese Awards in October 2016 collecting the award together in London. These days you will still find Elise managing the Cheese shop in Totnes, with a smile on her face and ready to chat all things cheese with any customer that walks in. Elise and Marie are firm friends and still have that passion for cheese. They wanted to create the most special and fun cheese experiences for you to enjoy so the idea for Cheese Queens was born...........

We are still trying to catch our breath after having the greatest few days of the year so far!!!
We started our cheese tour at the small biz coffee club at Devonmade chatting with the most amazing small business owners, then we got in the car and headed straight to Dartmouth. We were greeted by the most gorgeous goats at Stone Tree Dairy 😍🐐 We were then shown around by the lovely Helen and Martin who make the most exquisite goat cheese. The following day we were very excited to be judging again for Food Drink Devon in Exeter where we had the best morning tasting the most incredible food Devon has to offer!😋
And finally we hosted with the tremendous TIKI our cheese and cocktail tasting experience back .co which was insane!!! All of this and making sourdough bread, foccacia, making jam and picking fruit just to throw in for good measure😍🧀

🧀"Amazing. Not a bit of mild cheddar in sight but some amazing cheeses on offer.

You are in for a treat with Marie and Elise. They are fun, super knowledgeable, helpful and great hosts. (Emma and Jan were fab too).

The quality and care taken with the fruit (from Marie’s allotment) to the best focaccia and sourdough ever, nothing was overlooked or too much.

5 different cheeses - all worth trying and available to buy at the end (just in case you like them, no hard sells here).

Can’t wait for the next one. This one was at the brilliant Devonmade with the best TIKI cocktails too.

Don’t miss their events. Worth every penny and more. Thank you both x"🧀
