Today’s question: How many guests can we have, and does that change the price?

We’re proud to be the largest wedding venue in Torbay, with space for up to 300 guests.

And the best part? We don’t charge per person. You hire the venue as a whole, so whether you’re inviting 80 or filling the barn with 300, the price stays the same.

Big guest list? No problem. Smaller celebration? That works too. It’s your day, you choose the numbers!

Today’s question: Do you provide catering?

We don’t provide catering ourselves but we do know lots of businesses that do, meaning we're able to give you lots of delicious options to choose from.

We have an extensive list of trusted caterers offering everything from elegant sit-down meals to relaxed hog roasts, buffets, grazing boards, wood-fired pizza vans, fresh seafood and even Greek cuisine!

So whether you’re dreaming of formal dining or full-on festival food vibes, you can create a menu that suits your day perfectly.

Today’s question is about getting married in the barn, and yes, you can say 'I do' at Torbay Party Barn!

We’re listed as an approved venue for civil marriage ceremonies with the Torbay Registrar, under the name Stantor Barton Farm (Torbay Party Barn).

That means you can legally get married here without needing to go to a register office first, as long as you book the registrar to attend on your chosen date.

This week, we’re answering some of the questions we get asked the most.

One of them is whether guests can use hay bales as seating. The simple answer is no, we don’t use hay bales as furniture inside the barn. They’re a fire risk and, more importantly, they’re needed for our farm animals during the winter months.

You might occasionally spot a hay bale wall outside the barn entrance on a windy wedding day but that’s purely practical, not for seating. And that’s the only time hay bales make an appearance at our weddings!
