We're recruiting for a Team Lead and Event Installation Crew!
DNK Event Services Ltd is a Ribble Valley based event equipment hire business helping deliver events in the Cumbria, Lancashire and Cheshire areas. Our main focus is on traditional marquee weddings, but we also have key operations in temporary power solutions and mobile bars. Also see our sister company Ribble Valley Canvas Marquees
DNK Event Services are looking to grow our team in preparation for the success of our 2022 season. We are recruiting several positions including Team Lead and Event Installation Crew who will work closely together and report directly to the Technical Director to complete successful installations of various Marquees and event equipment. There are full time positions working 37.5 hours per week and part time positions working 22.5 hours per week primarily between Monday to Friday inside the hours of 8am – 6pm however flexibility is required depending on the tasks being completed. Full training will be provided.
Mandatory Requirements
• English Speaking.
• Positive & flexible working attitude.
• Physically fit.
Advantageous Skills
(Non-essential, training, development, and opportunity will be offered to the right candidate)
• Experience working with marquees or temporary structures.
• Full UK Driving License.
• First Aid Trained.
• Basic Carpentry Skills.
Main Duties
• Installation of Traditional Pole Marquees including all internal fixtures and fittings.
• Delivery and set up of mobile bars.
• Installation of power distribution equipment.
• Liaising with the Directors and office team offering a constant clear avenue of communication for all things project-related.
• Responsible for driving and maintaining a range of vehicles and trailers.
• Loading and checking kit.
• Maintenance of all hire stock.
• Maintaining our high standard of working practices and finish.
Team Lead
• Responsible for the smooth running of our warehouse facility working to ensure efficient use of the space, tools, and crew.
• Manage a team between 2-8 ensuring all relevant procedures are followed closely and close attention is paid to the safe working practices of the crew.
• This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be expected to perform different tasks as required by the overall objectives of the business.
• Opportunity to work additional overtime as bar staff.
Remuneration depends upon experience but rates from £10ph
Contract length: 6 months with a view to be permanent.
