So many beautiful memories of Naomi and James’ amazing wedding day that took place earlier this year on the most glorious spring day at the stunning 💛

All the special moments were captured so perfectly by Ryan GRC Photography and I have loved taking some time today to reminisce; it really was such a pleasure to create the most perfect ceremony in the most gorgeous countryside setting for these lovely two! 💜

A wonderful day of celebration, full to the brim with love, laughter and music surrounded by family friends and so much joy!🧡

Witnessing and being part of these special moments makes me feel so fortunate to truly have the best job in the world!❤

It was such a joy to work with Dawn and Chris to craft their Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony to celebrate 15 years of marriage. We began our journey 3 years ago and I have loved every moment of working with these two soulmates. Their enthusiasm has been contagious and I am so grateful they chose me to write their beautiful and very unique ceremony. ❤

Their lovely small wedding ceremony, 15 years ago was held in the West Midlands meaning that many of their family and friends who live in the South were unable to attend. Their magical Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony was a celebration of the fairy-tale they have written together and an opportunity to invite all of their family and friends who have been a part of their story.

Their ceremony included so many wonderful elements that held deep meaning to them. We began with a fantastic Guest Singalong to Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me; everyone joined in enthusiastically and some even reached the high notes! They both shared what marriage means to them, Dawn delivered a wonderful poem that she had written as a surprise for Chris, entitled A Fairy Tale On Platform Two; their paths first crossed at Chatham Station! I shared their beautiful love story and they made the most beautiful personal promises to each other during a handfasting. They re-dedicated their original wedding rings with additional beautiful vows and they closed the ceremony by jumping the broom! Just brilliant!

So much thought had gone into every element, every word, every action resulting in the most heartfelt, incredible ceremony which I am overjoyed and honoured to have been a part of.

I am excited to see the images captured by lovely Christina and I have been invited by the lovely to be their recommended celebrant which is a real honour.

Thank you for letting me be a part of something so special Dawn and Chris, you two are amazing and I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!❤

This fabulous video snippet by captures the magic of Maddy and Jordan’s beautiful wedding day absolutely perfectly.

I truly loved every moment of connecting with this gorgeous couple to create the most meaningful and heartfelt ceremony that was completely tailored to them. Their enthusiasm and excitement throughout our journey together was an absolute joy.

Maddy and Jordan are the epitome of soulmates and it was such a privilege for us all to witness the deep love between them shine so bright throughout the ceremony and as they made their heartfelt vows to each other.

A year has flown by and it has been really wonderful to take a moment to remember the joy of their special day. Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary lovelies I have no doubt you are continuing to live your lives to the fullest. Lots of love and the biggest hugs! Xx

Exciting news! On Thursday, the Government launched its long awaited public consultation on updating the current antiquated marriage Law and we need your help!

I am an original founding member of Give Couples Choice Movement and have always been passionate about couples being able to have a meaningful, legally binding wedding ceremony in the location of their choice.

Currently, if couples want to have a bespoke, personalised ceremony with a celebrant they must complete the legal paperwork separately with a registrar. But, all this could be changing as the consultation proposes that instead of licensing the building, it will be the officiant that is licensed.

The Government has recognised that the current wedding law, which dates back to 1836, no longer serves modern society and they also recognise that including independent celebrants with improved regulation is key to ensuring that going forward, every couple will be able to have a ceremony that includes all the things that are important to them.

The public consultation will be running for a period of 10 weeks, closing on 24th September and we need your help to ensure that independent celebrants are included. This will affect many generations to come. so, we are calling for everyone to have a once in a lifetime say in shaping marriage law in England and Wales.

There are a number of the questions being asked, but just respond to the questions that resonate and at the very least, please head to Chapter 6, question 27 “Do you agree with allowing independent officiants to conduct legally binding weddings?” Reply “Yes” and explain why you feel this is important. And remember to press submit so your voice is heard!

It is worth mentioning that this is not going to happen quickly and is unlikely to affect 2026 and 2027 couples as the proposals for new legislation would the need to pass through the full parliamentary process before becoming law.

As a little girl, Lisa visited Hever Castle with her family and they would often see weddings taking place. She could only dream that one day she would have her very own fairy tale wedding and be a Hever bride. Dreams really do come true and Lisa looked like a beautiful princess as she made her way through the floral aisle into the loggia, where Tom was proudly waiting to greet her. ❤

Their magical ceremony was full of personalised and meaningful elements including a hand-tying, beautiful readings and I shared their wonderful love story with their families and friends.

Danni and Matt’s wedding at was certainly one that has stayed with me long after the day itself; it was so full of love, joy and laughter and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their relationship and reflect of all they had achieved in their eleven years together. They made their heartfelt vows to each other in the Love Shack, surrounded by stunning florals with a backdrop of countryside views framed through the stained glass window.

Their ceremony had a relaxed, intimate, vibe ensuring everyone felt included in their celebrations, particularly their two gorgeous children who thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a sand unity ceremony, which acknowledged the united and very happy family life they have created!

Everything about their ceremony was vibrant, heartfelt and full of joy, culminating in the presentation of our happy couple and the most spectacular confetti photo as they made their way back down the aisle before heading to the Nags Head Bar to continue their celebrations.

I loved every moment of creating Danni and Matt’s perfect ceremony; thinking back on all the wonderful elements we included, always makes me smile and brings so many happy memories.

Congratulations to Avneet and Laurence, who celebrated their union in the most beautiful way at on Friday. It truly was such an honour to witness the very best of two cultures coming together.❤

They chose to have two ceremonies; their celebrant-led ceremony with me took place in the stunning Italian gardens and incorporated some wonderful elements to acknowledge Laurence’s Irish heritage and Avneet’s spirituality , this was immediately followed by a religious ceremony to reflect Avneet’s Indian heritage and Sikh faith in the magnificent Old Library.

I loved working with Avneet and Laurence to craft a ceremony that held meaning for both of them and I was delighted to receive a message of thanks from Avneet the following day to let me know that everyone loved hearing me narrate their story as it allowed each side of their families and friends to feel more connected to them.

The stars aligned, leading the paths of these two soulmates to cross during a welcome meeting at a hotel in Dehli. Laurence was travelling to celebrate completing his PhD and a series of events resulted in Avneet being his tour guide. They had an immediate connection. They are two passionate individuals whose values and outlook are very much aligned, and their relationship has evolved into something beautiful and very special; their love for each other was a joy to witness and their personal vows were emotional and heartfelt.

Laurence, wore a beautiful ivory Sherwani Suit, adorned with pearls and a pale pink turban. Avneet looked absolutely stunning, wearing a beautiful Red, Ivory and Gold Indian Bridal Wedding Lehenga.

Their ceremony included the Celtic traditions of the Oathing Stone but with a spiritual twist as Avneet and Laurence had chosen a Rose Quartz Crystal Heart which was passed between all their guests to make a silent wish for Avneet and Laurence’s future together. They held the crystal as they were Handfasted and made their vows and Laurence’s Godmother delivered a Marriage Blessing which was a beautiful moment.

A wonderful ceremony, for two beautiful souls and I couldn’t be any prouder to have been a part of such a special moment. I wish Avneet and Laurence so much love and happiness in their future together, they really are the most fantastic couple.

It was such a pleasure to be back at Wotton House again, it is a fabulous venue in the most incredible setting. The staff were all amazing and they had also selected a great team of suppliers to create and capture their perfect day. ❤

I am fortunate to work with many inter-faith couples and being an independent celebrant allows me to carefully craft their ceremony to ensure it reflects their beliefs in a way that is inclusive and meaningful.❤

Irene and Steve celebrated their union in the beautiful gardens of and their wedding ceremony captured the relaxed, joyful, loving atmosphere they were looking for whilst also honouring Irene’s Catholic faith by including an Opening Prayer and a Blessing, delivered by her aunties who had flown in from Ireland. It really was the most beautiful ceremony.💚

We also included a modern hand-tying and their choice of ribbons held special meaning to them both; green represented their beloved Ireland gold was the colour of their wedding rings, symbolising eternal commitment and burgundy, the colour of a deep red rose; the flower of love.💛

Their choice of venue was also just perfect, Hookhouse Farm is a working Dairy Farm and as Irene grew up on a Dairy Farm in Ireland, the sound of the cows mooing made her feel right at home and they loved the relaxed vibe!

Celebrating family!❤

Including your children in your ceremony whatever their age can turn the moment into something even more meaningful; your wedding is not only a union between the two of you, but a celebration of your whole family.

For blended families, including children acknowledges that you are not only forming a partnership, but you are strengthening your family. Also many couples give their nieces and nephews or their younger siblings an important role in their ceremony.

Over the years, I have worked with my couples to find different ways to do this that feels right for them; we’ve had little flower girls sprinkling petals; nephews who have presented the rings in carefully made lego ring boxes, older children delivering a poem they had chosen or written themselves and also adult children, taking part in unity candle rituals and sand ceremonies to signify family unity.

Adrian and Louisa embraced the opportunity a celebrant-led ceremony allows by including memorable and meaningful elements involving their family. Their six adult children and Adrian's Best Man joined them for a singalong to “It Must Be Love” by Madness and all sang very enthusiastically. Readings were delivered by their daughters and to round off the ceremony, they all took part in a Cocktail Unity Ceremony; each taking it in turns to add an ingredient to a central jug to create their new wedding cocktail, named “The Tying The Knot”! It was then carefully poured into eight shot glasses and on the count of three, they raised their glasses and drank to family, friendship and a very happy future!

There are so many beautiful ways to celebrate family unity, choose what feels right for you …. And of course, I’m always at hand with lots creative suggestions!❤

“Nikki was a wonderful celebrant for our wedding at The Oak Barn, Frame Farm. From the very beginning, she was incredibly warm, helpful and genuinely invested in getting to know us as a couple.

Before the wedding, she visited our home taking the time to understand our story and what mattered most to us, and she reflected that beautifully in the ceremony she created. It felt completely tailored to us which was lovely.

She was also exceptionally organised throughout. From writing a thoughtful and engaging script to creating a clear positioning document so everyone knew exactly where to stand, she made sure everything ran smoothly. Her communication was excellent the whole way through, which gave us so much confidence leading up to the big day.

There were so many personal touches that made the ceremony unforgettable. Having a singalong with my Mum playing the piano was incredibly special, and Nikki embraced it so naturally. She also helped us include my Dad in the ceremony with a blessing, which meant the world to us - and is something we wouldn’t have been able to do in a more traditional registrar setting.

On the day itself, everything came together perfectly. The ceremony was full of love, laughter, and joy - and even a few surprise appearances (and vocals) from the sheep and lambs!

We’re so grateful to Nikki for creating such a meaningful and memorable ceremony and would definitely recommend her.”
