This was my first FULL floral arch 😬🥰

For the lovely Martha and Matthew last Saturday ❤️

It presented its challenges, mainly with the torrents of rain on the morning of the wedding! But the couple and their families kept the faith that the sun would come out. And their faith was eventually rewarded!

Swipe to see where we constructed it until the rain cleared up - the archway to the house was just big enough to provide shelter and a cosy workspace 🌧🙏

The arch was covered in smilax from , which was amazing to use! It comes from Texas but is flown over in the hold on preexisting flights 👍

The stunning hydrangeas were all British from , plus lots of other lovely flowers grown on home turf.

Guests were loving the arch as a selfie spot once we'd moved it to the entrance of the marquee later on 📸

Shout out to my floristry assistants on the day and
And not forgetting who came in the days leading up to the wedding and helped immensely. Mostly putting together the stunning aisle meadows 🙏🥰

Olivia was great from the start and was very easy to work with. Her passion clearly shone through and we were keen to try and use suppliers who had this passion rather than seeing our wedding as just another one!

We shared some initial ideas on our themes and flowers and Olivia quickly built a vision that we loved and it was a great balance with the rest of our decor & theme. Olivia was also very practical about suggesting and recommending repurposing the arrangements in the ceremonial room for our wedding breakfast tables to save on some cost.

So many of our guests commented on how lovely the flowers were & the quality of how they were blooming on the day was perfect.

We would high recommend Olivia, The Surrey Florist!"
