The sun was certainly shining for my service at Oxford Crematorium today ☀️
What a lovely farewell it was too — beautiful heartfelt poems, a touching visual tribute, a bespoke family tribute and thoughtfully put together orders of service. Today we told the story of a man passionate about biking- the freedom it gave him and sadly it took his life too soon.

Thank you to Michael funeral services and all the team for looking after him and his family with such care and professionalism. Always a pleasure working alongside you xx

Before a service is written, I spend time with families learning about the person they love — their stories, their character, and the moments that made them who they were.

Those memories become the words spoken on the day.

Because every life has a story.
And every farewell should feel personal.

I had the special privilege of leading a celebration of life ceremony for my close friends father.
I had so much content,I could’ve written a novel full of so many memories and funny stories. It was difficult to choose which stories to take out so I decided to keep a full long version to give them afterwards and make a shorter version for our ceremony.
Everyone was offered a cornetto to enjoy on the way out as he loved ice cream . Such an uplifting ceremony full of his wonderful character. Pranks and stories shared with those who loved him.
