Have you discovered The Summer House Weekend (August 14-18)? Last year members of the VR team had a great time at this semi-private microfestival - which was started by our occasional collaborator Tobias from White Mischief as a larger-than-life birthday party. This year, having been inspired, VR will return with even more anticipation and excitement and a hand in the production of the event. We would be delighted if some of you could join us.
Held at a charming Georgian home in the Sussex countryside just over an hour outside London, this intimate event, focused on "connection, community and creativity", starts off like a retreat, with a swimming pool, wood-fired hot tubs and sauna, good food, massages and workshops galore - before building to a climax with an early morning rave from Morning Gloryville and a Saturday night dressup party hosted by Rumpus that promises to be unforgettable.
There are talks; indoor and outdoor games; a silent disco; fire shows; film screenings; live music; cabaret, circus and spoken word performances; DJs and dancing; adult play / kink rooms and plenty of chances to make new friends at various meetup sessions and ceremonies.
