We are so blown away to have hit 600 followers so quickly!

Thank you to each an everyone of you! It really means the world to us.

We’ve realised we’ve not done an intro post for a while and since we’ve recently had a branding shoot done, you can see what we look like post lockdown 😂

We’ve been friends for many years now and both wanted and needed to do something other than our full time jobs.

With Jenn’s impeccable eye for all things design and detail and Helena’s (me) obsession for making ideas come to life, we came together and combined our talent and skills to create beautiful, elegant and stylish weddings.

Ivy Blu was born just before lockdown 1.0 (which may or may not have been the best timing but here we are) after a conversation over coffee of wanting to do something for ourselves.

We want to give our couples the time to enjoy their wedding journey and to soak in every memorable moment of their special day.

We’re based in the beautiful countryside of South Oxfordshire, we cover this county plus The Cotswolds, Home Counties and surrounding areas.

“I honestly don’t know where to begin….

Planning a wedding during a pandemic may have been stressful for some, but for me it was a breeze thanks to Helena and Jenn. They listened intently to what I had envisioned and then effortlessly executed it.

I was fully prepared to arrive at our wedding and immediately move things to their rightful place but there was no need whatsoever because it was everything I had imagined and more. They were on hand every step of the way; meeting us beforehand to iron out the final details and then on the day going above and beyond what we had hired them to do. I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been the same if it wasn’t for their attention to detail, creative flare and genuine passion for weddings and care for their couples. We will be eternally grateful for the cherished memories of our special day that they helped to create.”

To those who have been here since day one and those who are new, we’re incredibly grateful for you joining us on this journey after what’s been a strange year, especially as we started Ivy Blu back just before the first lockdown!

It’s been great getting to know some of you and being able to meet in person and we’re looking forward to meet more of you and hopefully working together on some beautiful weddings.
