It's a lovely sight to see so many bikes locked up outside our cafe. All we need now is some proper cycle lock up facilities so we can encourage more of this sort of thing!

Make the most of the hot weather and perfect tide conditions today and tomorrow here on Overstand beach, a great quiet stretch of golden sand for those looking to avoid the Cromer crowds!

We shall be running a sandwich special tomorrow as past of our beach pack up, alongside our usual great coffee and iced drinks plus home bakes made here, in Overstrand.

One unforeseen advantage of being a truly off grid cafe is when the power goes down in the Cromer area (as it has this afternoon) we're still open for business! So if you are seeking refreshments powered by the sun (as opposed to the national grid) why not make your way to Overstrand beach?

It's 9am on Overstrand beach and the tide is properly in, which means by the time you've finished breakfast and made your way to here the beach will be back and the conditions are looking good with a gentle on shore breeze and a calm sea.

We shall be up and running with proper coffee, iced drinks and great home baked cake from 10am til 4pm.

Our dog of the week is Zepher from Essex. Zepher is a charismatic golden doodle with an especially bushy tail.

We are back at whitewater cafe for our Mexican pop up on Cromer promenade this Friday night from 5.30 - 8pm.

Join us for a mouth watering Mexican platter which includes chilli with nachos or fries, plus salsa, refried beans, guacamole, slaw and fried rice, all for a mere £12.00!

The whitewater bar are running a special so you can get a platter plus a margarita cocktail for £20.00 while watching the sun go down over the north sea. What's not to like?
