Hello! lovely followers!
I thought it’s about time I pop a little update here. Maybe I’ll go live soon, but for now, I just wanted to fill you in on some changes! As you know, things in my world tend to shift a bit — it’s never boring!
For those of you who followed me over from Oulton Broad Flower Company, you’ll know I left to start something new with Lizzie in Southwold, which was such an exciting chapter. But, well, the Big C (cancer) came crashing into my life once again (this time last year, actually!). After pushing through treatment and finally being back in remission (yay!), I realised I needed to find a new balance between work, home, and life.
So, after lots of reflection, I’ve made the decision to leave Bloomcore. Lizzie’s off on her next adventure, and the store is still open with some exciting changes happening.
Now, I’m beyond excited to tell you that I’ll be stepping into a floristry lecturer role at a local college starting in September — woohoo! But don’t worry, I couldn’t leave flowers behind entirely. So, if you need anything floral, just send me a message! I’ll still be doing smaller-scale floral work, just not as big as before.
Oh, and a little gardening story for you: I’ve been tidying up the garden, only to realise the deer have decided they’re on the menu. Oh well, back to square one! 😅
I’d love to hear from you all and catch up! The weather’s been gorgeous here, and we’re enjoying a slower pace of life in the garden — it’s the perfect time for it.
