DJing since 1995 under many obsolete guises and having previously been Promoter and Resident DJ at Widescreen and Region2 in York, The Battery Human has now drifted into the neon soaked world of Synthwave. Pooling all his experience with the other electronic genres he has played in the past to create carefully crafted, live recorded DJ mixes featuring the very best future retro Synthwave sounds, these are his Neon Dreams. Occasionally he returns to his first love, the sound of Breakbeat. He calls it Progressive Breaks but who knows what it's classed as these days, either way expect some retro influences seeping through that reveal his long-time love of the sound, and also probably a bit of Hybrid. In 2026 The Battery Human returned to producing his own music, taking those retro Synthwave sounds that he loves and combining them into something niche and unique that he likes to call Post-Synthwave Progressive Breaks. All made with FL Studio, Diva and without a robot in sight.
