O’Deli was born in 2016 with the opening of the O’Deli bar and delicatessen in the heart of medieval Otley. Distinctive from the outset, O’Deli reflected Kay’s passion for home cooking and for fine food and drink. She uses only the finest ingredients to create beautiful food a specialism in Gluten Free cooking and catering.

Since 2023 we also provide outside catering for events from birthday parties to weddings and funerals. Please see our website for more details.

👋🍰 Looking for a walk that ends in cake? Maybe you're travelling especially to O'Deli and want to make a day of it?

Otley is a fabulous town to visit and there are loads of great shops and the market to mooch around. But if you're looking to get those steps in whilst your here, check out our favourite local loop walks that start and finish right by O'Deli!

🥾 The Chevin Circular - Distance: 4 miles - can shorten or extend
Start/Finish: Walk from O'Deli up to The Chevin Forest Park
Highlights: Woodlands, panoramic views over Wharfedale, and fresh Yorkshire air
Why it’s great: A proper leg-stretcher with incredible views and a well-earned slice of something sweet when you're done.

🐾 Wharfemeadows Loop - Distance: 2 miles
Start/Finish: From O'Deli, head to the River Wharfe, loop through the park
Highlights: Riverside views, kids’ play area, ducks and lots of benches
Why it’s great: Flat, accessible and dog-friendly - ideal for a family walk or gentle stroll before lunch.

🌿 Gallows Hill Nature Loop - Distance: 3 miles
Start/Finish: O'Deli > Wharfemeadows Park > Gallows Hill > loop back through the town
Highlights: Wildflowers, peaceful riverside paths, great for spotting birds and wildlife
Why it’s great: Quiet, beautiful and finishes with you right back in town for lunch.

🏛 Otley Heritage Trail - Distance: 2.5 miles
Start/Finish: Town centre loop
Highlights: Learn about Otley's history, walk past historic buildings and along the river
Why it’s great: A scenic and educational loop that works for all ages - and pop in to O’Deli at the end for a flat white and a brownie.

Come by before or after, we’ve got gluten free bakes, hearty lunches and spritzes if the sun’s out. ☀️😎

🐶 Are you dog friendly?
Due to us being a tiny place, we don’t allow doggies inside. But if it’s dry and not too cold we do have outside seating available ❤

🍰 Do you just do gluten free food or do you have regular options?
All our cakes are gluten free (but you probably wouldn’t realise it!) our menu combines toasties, sandwiches, wraps, salads and specials which can be made up gluten free or not.

❌ How do you avoid cross contamination?
All the baking and cooking is done in a separate unit which is 100% gluten free. We have non gluten free bread brought on to site which when ordered is toasted on a separate grill.

🐮We have multiple allergies and intolerances - do you offer dairy free and gluten free?
Yes we have options available for people with multiple intolerances and preferences such as gluten free, dairy free, vegan. These options are slightly more limited so we recommend you plan to arrive early in the day to minimise the chances of us being sold out. Just let our staff know about any allergens when you order!

🍽️ Do we have to book a table?
No, we don’t take bookings for tables, we are a little corner café (small but perfectly formed) so we can get very busy around lunch time! We do also offer a take away service where people can order and wait to take out yummy coffee, cakes, sandwiches and more.

You've been at it again guys! 🥹 We can't get over all the love we're feeling from you all on social media at the moment. It honestly blows us away.

We also just wanted to say that whilst we wish we could respond to each and every comment, message and email straight away (and we're trying to!) we're only a very small team and with the café being so busy right now we're doing our best to respond to everything we can whilst also keeping up with the demands of early morning baking sessions and running the café 6 days a week - so please bare with us! 😅

We’re so incredibly grateful for this community, and cannot thank you enough for your support.

Breeze in the Park by Breeze Leeds is back this summer and it’s stopping in Otley on Thursday 31st July with free fun, music and activities from 12–4pm.

Once you’ve had your fill of bouncy castles and games, pop by O’Deli for a well-earned breather (and maybe a slice of cake or two to refuel).

Gluten free options available for grown-ups and little ones and our outdoor seating is perfect for a post-park pitstop.

From Saturday 28th June to Sunday 6th July, Otley is hosting nine days of guided walks for all levels - the perfect way to explore our beautiful corner of Yorkshire.

Whether you want to start your day with a strong coffee and breakfast, or end it with cake, lunch or a refreshing Aperol Spritz, we’re just a short stroll from the action.

Plenty of gluten free options available, including cakes, bakes and hearty lunches - coeliac-friendly and full of flavour.

We specialise in gluten free and dairy free food which is FREE from allergens but FULL of flavour... and even if you don't have an allergen - we can cater food which is delicious for EVERYONE.

A minimum order of £50 applies for all deliveries.

Deliveries over 5 miles (from Otley) will be charged at £1 per mile from LS21 3AE

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required 4 weeks before the event to secure the booking

The remaining balance is required 8 days prior to the event
