💖 🎀 T H E H O R S M A N S 🧡🔸️🔶️

Back in May, lovely Lucy and Dan tied the knot at St. Lukes Church in Cleckheaton followed by a fabulous party . They chose a bright and bold sunset colour palette which was perfect for the beautiful sunny day at the mill. We added hanging flowers across the ceiling of the venue adding pops of colour to the large space. An absolute joy! 🌺 🎉

Sharing these pretty citrus colours on this sunny Sunday before heading to Harrogate Flower Show. I thought i would share with you why I work with fresh flowers, particularly local grown ones;

1) The amazing scent! I've lost count of the number of times after set up at a wedding someone has commented on how beautiful the space smells.

2) The interesting "bits". Fresh flowers allow you to bring in interesting flowers and foliage that might not be in season for long. This is particularly the case with flowers coming from uk growers. They are not standard mass produced flowers so we get wobbly stems and new varieties. This makes each arrangement and bouquet unique.

3) Yes, they don't last long. They frame the important moments and then they are gone. This is the beauty of them, they are uniquely yours. Captured only in memories and photographs.

4) Sustainability. By buying local and from small growers we keep the biodiversity (and 🐝 fed!) I don't use any foam (poisonous for the waterways), or artificial flowers in my arrangements.

This is why I became a florist and why I love bringing flowers to your important moments. 💕

April! Jumping into spring as wedding season starts now! 🐤💐🌷 I'm feeling revitalised after a lovely break and itching to get started. I love spring flowers, and UK flowers are starting to be available too, which is extra exciting!

2 lovely weddings coming up, some venue visits, and an Easter bouquet class.

Ooh, also, I have some Easter wreath kits available. If anyone would like one, please shout (the hellebore design was very popular last year - see stories)

A U T U M N M A G I C 🍁🍂

Emily & Chris held their wedding at the beautiful , which frankly couldn't be any more perfect for autumn. They chose beautiful pieces that moved seamlessly from ceremony to wedding breakfast and we used dahlias and autumn beech to bring the season inside, using the last of the british flowers and foliage. Looked like an amazing party too .irvine capturing the joy perfectly 👌 what a wonderful couple and amazingly beautiful wedding day. 🧡🧡

Valentine’s Day vibes incoming!!💗 We’re all about the dreamy pink and red tones right now, and this styled shoot is the perfect romance inspiration💫
Coloured candlesticks are such an eye-catching addition to- just look at how the red and pink pop! Add in some floating candles for that soft, romantic glow, and you’ve got yourself the perfect candlelit setting. ✨
And can we talk about the bows? Whether they’re on candlesticks, glasses, or napkins, they’re the cutest little detail to sprinkle in some personality.
