✨ Quick-fire tips for a dancefloor that never quits

Lead the charge – if you’re out there having fun, your guests will follow.
Kick things off with a banger – get the energy high straight after your first dance.
Hire the pros & trust them – a good DJ or band will keep the vibe flowing.
Mix it up – from golden oldies to guilty pleasures, give everyone a reason to get moving.
Set the mood – dim the lights, add a splash of colour… people dance more when they feel relaxed.
Props are magic – glow sticks, hats, confetti cannons = instant party.
Keep drinks & snacks close – a quick sip or bite means no one disappears for long.
Don’t let it dip – avoid too many slow songs back-to-back, keep that energy rolling.
Because the best dancefloors aren’t about perfect moves, they’re about pure joy.

What did you have (or what are you having!) for your wedding breakfast?

Ours was Northumberland broth (we got married near Morpeth), a proper roast dinner, and strawberries with Seaton Delaval ice cream — a total North East delicacy and honestly… lush! 😍

I always love asking couples what’s on their menu — I’m so nosy when it comes to food! This was Clair & Josh’s feast last Saturday at The Courtyard, created by the amazing . It looked and smelt incredible!

Sometimes they run, sometimes they freeze. Occasionally there’s a little detour… or a surprise toy in hand. But always — always — they steal the show. 💫

Little superstar Roseanna made her entrance with a firm grip on her fluffy sidekick, and honestly, I think we all felt a bit emotional watching her moment unfold 🥹

Weddings are full of these perfectly imperfect moments — and I’m here for every single one of them. 💛

✨ Today, I stepped into my clients’ shoes—and it was such a fun and eye-opening experience! ✨

It felt very different to be on the other side of the camera!
