This was such a dream brief to work on for ANG ☆ and Ed’s wedding at The Courtyard Venue last weekend.

The theme was summer garden party, and they wanted the day to be really colourful and joyful. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were matched to their dresses (may have forgotten to take a picture 🫠🌸) and the budvases were a rainbow of colour through the room, along with all the styling that they put into the day. Dream!

If you’re looking for a florist for your wedding, my 2027 books are now open 💐

Last week was a busy one... and a very hot one!

The flowers pulled through, and somehow so did I! Despite the heat, we got to create some really beautiful flowers for our lovely couples, and I’m so grateful for that.
Here are a few details from Leanda & Robin’s wedding at the Courtyard on Saturday.
Their bouquets, buttonholes and floral arch were all filled with seasonal flowers and foliage in a soft palette , grown by Carols Garden Cheshire and ourselves.
It all came together so beautifully and felt completely at home in the space.
Congratulations again, Leanda & Robin. Thank you for trusting me to flower such a special day 🤍

And extra special as it was the very first wedding in their beautiful new orangery - such a treat to flower.

It’s been a quiet few months over here.

We’ve really been taking all the time we can to enjoy our little Joni, and to rest and recover from growing her and the rest! So it’s been a much slower start to the season than usual.

But it feels like we’re ready to be back in this space again now that spring is properly here. So here’s sharing what we’re up to!

Seeds are being sown, the first trays are pricked out, the weeding is slowly being chipped away at, and the dahlias are just starting to wake up.

The flowers are coming, the weddings aren’t far off, and I’m finding my way back to it all again.

If you’re new here - we grow and work with seasonal flowers for weddings and events.

And if you’ve been here a while… hello again ☺️

A quiet few weeks over here as we welcomed our newest member of the family — our little girl, Joni 💕

Almost a month of milk-drunk smiles, slow days, and learning each other. I’m starting to gently re-enter the world now, catching up on emails and messages.

Feeling very thankful, and looking ahead to some truly special weddings this year 🌿
