Flowering Selattyn Church for Gracie & Llion’s wedding last summer was such a dream. There’s something about old churches and fresh, seasonal flowers—like they were always meant to be together. A beautiful space, a beautiful couple, and the softest July blooms to celebrate it all. 💛”

Our next batch of anemones and ranunculus are getting started today! We began the first round before Christmas, and now we’re soaking and chitting these corms to stagger the flowering season.

We’ve sourced ours from and this year - Right now, they don’t look like much, but in a few months, they’ll be full of colour. Anyone else growing these this year?

On this very grey morning, looking at my shop-bought daffs, I can’t stop thinking about how excited I am for all my new fancy ones to bloom! Eep—hurry up now, I’m done with being cold. Noticed some crocuses and primroses peeking through today too... slowly but surely, spring is on the way!

Popped down to the field this afternoon in the sunshine, and it was so beautiful—definitely needed after being ill! A bit of time on my own, chatting to the plants ☺️

The earth is waking up, bulbs are pushing their way through, and the hazel catkins are looking stunning. ✨

Loved this colour palette for Ellie & Toby’s wedding last year! 🍑🌿 The mix of soft peaches, buttery yellows, pastels with pops of colour from oranges pinks and lilac felt so warm and joyful. Always a treat to work with seasonal blooms and bring a couple’s vision to life!

I’ve just received the most beautiful photos from .williams.photography from this wonderful wedding back in October at The Courtyard.

Using a mixture of fresh and dried flowers, and a colour palette of soft neutrals and contrasting deep tones.

‘I cannot thank Elin enough for our beautiful wedding flowers, she was so lovely, knowledgable and so passionate about her craft! Not to mention the flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and suited the space perfectly. All of the guests commented on how beautiful they were. 🌙 This year, we’re trying something new to us... We’ve decided to give gardening by the moon a go! 🌱
If you’ve never heard of it before, the basic idea is that the moon’s phases can influence the growth of plants. Certain phases are thought to be better for planting, sowing, pruning etc. so we’re curious to see if it helps us get better results with our flowers this year! 🌸
I’m also hoping it helps us stay on track with our never-ending to-do list. (You know, those jobs that always seem to get pushed to “tomorrow”... or “next week”... or “next month”? 😬) By aligning our tasks with the lunar calendar, we’re hoping it gives us a bit of structure and motivation to get everything done on time!
Right now we are in a dormant period so waiting to sow my sweet peas and a couple of the earlier things next week when we will be in a new moon phase which is associated with rising vitality and upward growth.
We’re only just starting, but we’re interested to see how it goes / if we can keep up with it!

Has anyone else tried gardening by the moon? love to hear your thoughts or experiences! 🌙🌱

🌸 Well, hello there! After a little social media break (we’ve been enjoying some time away in snowy mountains), we’re back and thought it was a good time to reintroduce ourselves.
Hi, I’m Elin, and together with my partner Thom, we run Bloomin’ El – a small flower farm just outside Oswestry, in North Shropshire 🌻.
This will be our 5th growing season, which feels crazy! Where does the time go?!
We grow all sorts of seasonal flowers (and herbs) within an agroforestry system at fruit tree nursery 🍏Our growing season runs from April to October, and we can’t wait to share what’s in bloom this year!

🌸 Weddings & Events – We love being part of your special day, whether you’re after DIY buckets, bouquets, buttonholes, or a full venue setup. Whatever you need, we’re here to help make it a beautiful day.

💐 Seasonal Bouquets – We offer fresh, seasonal bouquets for those little moments when you just want to brighten someone’s day (or your own!). All our flowers are cut fresh from the farm.

🌿 Wholesale for Florists & Floral Designers – If you’re a florist, we’ve got flowers that’ll add something special to your designs. Grown locally, they’re perfect for those looking to support British-grown flowers.

We’re excited to be back and to share the season with you all.

We held our first Christmas Wreath workshop on Saturday at with a lovely group of people.
We had a lot of fun, beautiful wreaths were made and now I’m feeling very Christmassy!
Thank you to all who came and made my first wreath workshop so so lovely! And the booka team for keeping us fuelled with delicious coffee!

Really looking forward to our next ones coming up.
We still have a couple of spaces if you would like to join us.

Lovely review from Gracie and Llion from their summer wedding 💕💕

The flowers that Elin provided for our wedding were perfect! She managed to come up with my dream flowers based on the kind of ‘vibe’ I asked for, and we got so many comments from our guests saying how beautiful they were! All flowers lasted really well despite the warm weather, and I’ve even managed to dry out my bouquet to keep forever! Elin was super friendly and professional and communicated well throughout the process! I’d 100% recommend her!
