❤️🏡 WHAT. A. WEEKEND. OSSY. 🏡❤️

Honestly… take it in for a minute.

What we’ve just experienced in our little town has been absolutely unbelievable. 🥹

🎶 Friday — Ossyfest at Rhoden Inn Oswaldtwistle… MENTAL. 🤯🍻🎸 An absolutely bouncing pub, brilliant music and our community doing what it does best.

🚶‍♂️ Saturday — after about ONE HOUR’S SLEEP 😴😂 it was off to Blackpool with the Oswaldtwistle Onwards gang to WALK ALL THE WAY BACK TO OSSY 😭😂
All to raise money for the War Mural Project and leave something behind that our town can be proud of. ❤️

🎧 Then, because apparently sleep is optional 😂, it was pretty much straight over to The Thorn Inn, Church for my Ossyfest debut set… and what a crowd you lot were! 🔥🙌🎶

🪂 And then today… a bunch of absolute LEGENDS decided walking 34 miles wasn’t stupid enough for one weekend and THREW THEMSELVES OUT OF A PLANE FROM 15,000 FEET 🤣🪂❤️ raising an incredible amount for Ronald McDonald House Manchester.

Just read all that back.

One weekend.

One little town.

So many people giving their time, raising money, supporting local pubs, supporting live music, backing charities, creating memories and just showing up for each other. ❤️

People always say…

“You don’t know you’re living in the good old days until they’re gone.”

Well Ossy… these are the good old days. 🥹❤️

Because this town and these people are something special.

I’ve DJ’d a lot of places, been involved in some mad things and met some incredible people… but there really is NO PLACE LIKE HOME. 🏡❤️

This weekend I’ve been a landlord, walker, fundraiser, DJ, supporter and professional avoider of sleep 😂…

But most importantly, I’ve been a very proud Ossy lad. ❤️

Buzzing to finally announce that DJ Damian will be making his official Ossyfest debut at The Thorn Inn on Saturday 8th August! 🙌🔥

🕙 10:00pm – DJ Damian takes over the decks! 🎶

I’m honoured to be part of this fantastic community festival alongside an incredible line-up of artists and DJs. It’s always special playing to a hometown crowd, so let’s make this one a night to remember! 💚

DJ Damian was proud to host the after party for the Lee, Ibby & Phil Memorial Football Match 🙌

An incredible day raising vital funds for:

❤️ British Heart Foundation

And when the final whistle blew…
we took it back to The Albion and did what we do best… 🎶🍻

Even through all the chaos… we still managed to add OVER £100 to the fundraising pot 💰👏
