The next Orsett Show is on Saturday 7th September 2024. Set in 30 acres of countryside, the annual Orsett Show in Essex is a great day out with plenty for all the family to see and do. There are marquees featuring Horticulture, Agriculture, Hobbies & Handicrafts, Schools, Craft Stalls and over 100 Trade Stands arranged around the outside of the Show Ground. In the centre there's an ever-changing p

rogramme of exciting displays in the Grand Display Ring and events throughout the day in the Horse Rings. There's certainly something for everyone at this County Show!

💚 GREAT NEWS — WE’RE EXTENDING ENTRIES! 💚

Our Horse Section entries were due to close at midnight TONIGHT, but we’ve listened to your feedback! 🐴

We’ve had lots of requests asking us to extend entries until payday on Friday and with the exceptional disruption to the showing calendar caused by the adverse weather and ground conditions, we’ve decided to give everyone a little more time.

Rather than closing tonight, entries will now remain OPEN throughout the Bank Holiday weekend! 🎉

This also gives competitors attending shows over the weekend another opportunity to gain those all-important Orsett Elite qualifications before entries finally close.

CATTLE & LIVESTOCK ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!

Are you planning to exhibit at the Orsett Show 2026? Entry forms for our livestock classes are officially open! Join us on Saturday, 5th September 2026 at the Orsett Showground to showcase your animals and help us connect the public with the vital 'field-to-fork' process.

Here's what you need to know:

Generous Subsidies: No entry fees for cattle classes! Plus, receive an attendance contribution of £50 for your first two animals, and £10 per adult animal thereafter (up to £100 max).

Great Facilities: 10' x 10' pens in a single marquee, accessible from 4:00 pm on Friday, 4th September.

Promote Your Farm: Farm shops, direct meat sellers, and market producers are warmly welcomed to advertise around their pens.
