Offering styles that evoke by-gone eras, rustic elegance, boho charm and hollywood sophistication and giving brides who want a change from the conventional the opportunity to use vintage inspired pieces to create contemporary looks. Our boutique has been created to
give our brides a luxurious and welcoming environment in which to shop and our number one priority is to ensure our brides feel relaxed, confident and special whilst choosing their dream dress. Shopping for ‘the dress’ can be a daunting experience but, armed with glasses of bubbly and pots of tea, we hope to put our brides at ease and instead give them memories to treasure. The Bridal Barn Boutique aims to be a destination wedding store for brides wanting to create their dream look that shows off their own personal style. We have a fantastic range of bridal wear from designers Charlotte Balbier who makes elegant gowns in bold prints, soft vintage style French laces and flowing chiffons, Ivory & Co. who's designs can be easily transformed with simple or heavily embellished boleros to create two looks in one dress, & Loulou who create vintage inspired gowns that can be ordered in three different lengths, Short, Tea-length and Full length.
Complete the look with a pair of Charlotte Mills beautiful leather shoes, a gorgeous hair piece from Ivory & Co, veils from Lily Bella and finishing touches from vintage inspired jewellery creator Lovett & Co.
We can even help with that tricky job of finding the perfect Bridesmaids dresses to suit your whole team. We have two amazing designers on board with a range from Maids to Measure, British designed and made gowns that come in a range of styles, necklines, fabrics & colour to ensure each maid feels confident in her look, and Onlyway who have created a one size fits all, multi-wrap dress that comes in a range of on trend colours.
Our bridesmaids collection could also be your prefect dress for a special occasion or prom, along with a small and carefully selected collection of elegant beaded dresses from Frock & Frill we hope to be your fairy godmother for your ball. All appointments will be with me, Emma. With a background in textiles, graphics and retail I have always had a passion for fashion and been creative with my style. When planning my own wedding back in 2015 I was shocked at the struggle I had finding a local bridal store that wasn't aimed at the traditional, big white dress, bling loving bride and found myself traveling further afield to find boutiques stocking dresses to suite my more unique and quirky look. My other disappointment came when I found the experience of shopping for my dresses was not the champagne and fireworks event I had dreamed up and that in reality you are lucky to get a cup of tea. I believe that shopping for such an important moment should be an occasion in itself and so I have created The Bridal Barn Boutique. A bridal boutique that offers top quality customer service (friendly and helpful advice and attention to detail), bubbly and refreshments for our brides and their entourage (because dresses shopping can be thirsty work), 2 hour long appointments (so no bride ever feels rushed), complete private use of the boutique and fitting room (no sharing with other brides here), and a carefully selected collection of dresses, shoes and accessories from some of the industry’s best designers (no need to feel overwhelmed by too much choice).
