Thank You, isnt enough…….❤️

As we reflect on another wonderful Holmeswood Fun Day, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along, volunteered, donated, sponsored, took part, or simply came to enjoy the day.

This was our fourth year, and every year it reminds us just how special our community is.

What began as a way of celebrating the life of a very dear friend after her passing has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. It has become a day that brings people together, creates new friendships, strengthens old ones, and reminds us of the incredible spirit that exists in our farming community and beyond.

Thank you for embracing this event, helping it grow year after year, and for supporting not only me, but one another. Seeing neighbours chatting, children laughing, families making memories, and everyone enjoying the day together is exactly what we hoped for.

Your kindness, generosity and community spirit are what make Holmeswood Fun Day so special. Together, we’ve created something that honours a cherished friend while bringing happiness to so many others.

Here’s to keeping that spirit alive for many years to come.

‼️ PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
With all the wonderful goodies on offer at the fun day, remember to bring an extra bag 😉

Last year my kids came home with pockets stuffed with
- 17 lolly pops
- a slice of flapjack (one half in each pocket)
- 4 gliders
- 2 books
- 5 bracelets
- 2 bottles of hand sanitiser
- 3 twigs
- 4 pebbles
- 3 fluorescent sticky unidentifiable objects
- And a pack of cards

Reminder - its cash only at the fun day,
Some stalls may have card payment systems , however the refreshments, games etc unfortunately don’t .
