🌾Island Games Centrepieces – One Year Ago🌾

We were honoured to design the table centrepieces for the VIP marquee and opening ceremony of the Island Games last year, and we knew from the start we wanted them to reflect the spirit of Orkney.

Using a beautiful selection of dried plants, we focused mainly on barley – a crop deeply rooted in Orkney’s landscape and heritage. These natural elements brought a rustic elegance and a strong sense of place to the celebrations.

Each arrangement sat proudly atop a wooden log slice, adding warmth and texture to the tables while keeping the overall design grounded in the natural beauty of our islands.

We’re so proud to have played a part in such a special event, and to showcase a bit of Orkney’s character in every detail🌾✨

💙 Our natural easel was the perfect way to welcome guests to Lyra's Bluey-themed birthday celebration!

To complement the theme, I sourced a beautiful blue flower swag especially for the occasion, creating a personalised display that made the welcome sign stand out.

It's always lovely to see our décor being used for more than just weddings – it can add that special touch to birthdays, baby showers and so much more!

Our brown wooden rustic walkthrough arch set up for a wedding this weekend🤎

Finished with our greenery and white flower swags, this setup suited the venue perfectly and created such a beautiful focal point for the ceremony.
