Our AGM takes place on 4th November. This year we will be in Cockburnspath Village Hall due to the closure of our own wee hall in Oldhamstocks.

Please spread the word. We hope to welcome some new faces and ideas to our small but enthusiastic committee!

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the show! A cracking day was had by everyone in the scorching heat.

The quality of enteries again this year was outstanding. Fiona Blair won the William Main Cup for the Best In Show exhibit for the second consecutive year. The Thompson Family took home both big prizes in the Sheep Show and the Ross Thompson Memorial Trophy went to a very deserving Barbara Richerby for her tireless hard work throughout the years. “Blake’s Four” (Blake Ainslie, Peter Ainslie, Stuart Thompson and Grant Docker) stormed the Tug O War despite the heat whilst David Morrison and Lily triumphed in a very popular Dog Show! A full list of prize winners will be published in the coming days.

Our youngest committee helper, 7 week old Bridget had a busy day, learning the ropes from her Mum and Laura in the Secretary and Treasurer’s stock box, and she will be ready to take the reins in a few years.

We are now taking a very well deserved rest before the preparation for 2026 starts!

The marquee has been busy this morning with many talented local exhibitors coming along. The quality of entries on display is yet again outstanding.

Hope to see everyone along at 1pm for the main event.

🌞 There will be a few ‘empty’ gazebos tomorrow for anyone looking to seek some shade 🌞

🐾 There will be water bowls round the show site for doggy’s and paddling pools to help cool them down incase of a scorching day! 🐾

Are you ready? We are!
The show kicks off at 1pm with the official opening at 1.30pm.
We have our Dog and Sheep shows for something a little different, and our popular auction at 5pm.
The forecast looks like promising for a lovely day. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow on the green!

48 hours to go!!
All our bakers will be starting to get their cake tins and piping bags at the ready. Fruit and Veg will be getting picked and dug for the big day. For anyone needing exhibition labels, please get in touch. These will be available in the marquee on Saturday morning as well. We are an open show so everyone is welcome!

Exhibits can be dropped off on Friday night from 6pm and then on Saturday morning from 7am. The marquee will close at 9.45am without exception for judging to commence at 10am. Good luck to all our exhibitors!
