Vicky and Kyle! ❤️

A fantastic day on Saturday for Vicky and Kyle’s day at the Chester Hotel! Very much the type of wedding I love being involved in - a really chill couple who just let me get on with what I needed to do, an intimate ceremony with just their nearest and dearest, with a much larger guest list at night for the party! In between that we had some fantastic speeches and my first experience seeing the Chester’s private room upstairs. A really lovely spot for a family dinner. The day went so well I can’t wait to put together all the photos and videos for you both! Congratulations once again and thank you both so much for putting your faith in me for your day!

Kara and Neil Teaser! ❤️

A genuinely superb day of smiles, laughter and love for Kara and Neil on Saturday at Netherdale House! The weather played ball to allow a lovely outdoor ceremony overlooking the river and valley beyond, where it could be argued “hayfever” got the better of some guests (IYKYK! 👀) before the celebrations got into full gear - a great bunch of guests who were full of laughs all day for a really lovely couple made my job really easy and a lot of fun! Into the evening and we were treated to four fantastic speeches before a packed dance floor partied into the night. A huge congratulations to Kara and Neil, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your day!

Allison and Brenden Teaser! ❤️

Saturday saw me back at the stunning Cluny House for the wedding of Allison and Brenden, who had travelled from America to fulfil Allison’s dream of being married at a castle in Scotland! I had a great morning getting to hear all about life in America and how our guests were enjoying their time in Scotland! A traditional ceremony followed in the chapel before the afternoon drinks. Six fantastic speeches preceded dinner and into the evening where there was laughs and some excellent moves as the Americans took on ceilidh dancing for their first time! It looked like everyone had a lot of fun, myself included!! A wonderful day full of love for a fantastic couple - congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Burton and thank you both so much for asking me to be a part of your day!

Now that I’ve made it to the summer holidays and mid-way through my wedding season maybe it’s time for a re-introduction and another pic of my face on here! I’m Simon King, owner of King Wedding Media and part-time Biology teacher! I’ve been filming (and sometimes photographing) weddings for 8 years now and still get such a buzz out of being involved in a couple’s special day. Here is me in the middle of three incredible couples who have all hired me for their respective days. Caitlin and Roy first hired me for their day at Ballogie many years ago, and that was where I was first introduced to a wonderful bridal squad which included both Adele and Megan also pictured here. A couple of years later Adele and Stewart then booked me for their day up north at Gordon Castle, and then just last month it was Megan and Ryan’s turn at Logie Country House! As soon as Megan and Ryan had booked in, I really wanted to get a photo with all 3 couples on her day as they’ve all been superb weddings to be involved in and ones that I’ll look back on so fondly when my career is over. There’s always something quite heart warming when a booking comes from a recommendation from a friend or previous couple as I feel it not only speaks highly of the work I do but also how I am on the day in fitting in with their loved ones. To get to film 3 weddings of such a tight friendship group I think says quite a lot and it’s been so awesome seeing Adele and Megan go from bridesmaids/MOH to bride and to get to see Caitlin return the favour! A special thank you also has to go to Danielle who I believe is the reason Caitlin and Roy first enquired! Thank you all so much for letting me be a part of your day and have so much fun along the way. Thank you to everyone who has ever recommended me, it’s how I get the majority of my bookings and this wee business of mine simply wouldn’t exist without them! ❤️ - ps thanks to our photographer Lily for snapping this shot! 😎

Megan and Ryan Teaser! ❤️

Last Saturday saw me back at Logie Country House for a really special wedding for me personally, as Megan and Ryan got married in spectacular style with all their nearest and dearest! Megan is the third (no longer a Hird though!! See what I did there?! Ha!) of a special group of friends who have hired me to film their wedding. It really does mean a lot to me when a friend/relative hires me for their day after seeing me at a previous wedding as it not only speaks for the work I do but I also feel it speaks quite highly of how I am as a person to be around on your wedding day. Megan since the day I met her has been an absolute gem of girl, always smiling, laughing, making others laugh and add to that what a beautiful girl she is and you know Ryan’s done well! Having said that, what a guy Ryan is too - from getting a special shout out in former groom Roy’s wedding speech for all his help then, to his air guitar on the dance floor that day - I have fond memories of my first time meeting Ryan! Having got to know him better on the day, what an absolute gent and top guy! Wiggy as he’s known to many, couldn’t stop smiling all day and you could just see the love shining through from every angle. A day full of fun, happiness and joy but not forgetting a few special mentions for loved ones no longer here, this really was a fantastic day to be a part of and I can’t wait to put it all together for you both! So great to catch up with so many familiar faces too! Thank you all so much for asking me to be a part of your day, it really does mean the world to me! Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Wraith!

Jess and Will ❤️

Saturday saw me back at the lovely Logie Country House for Jess and Will’s wonderful day! A really relaxed morning before a beautiful ceremony which included personal vows (always something I love!), a few funny moments and the traditional tying of the knot! In the afternoon there was entertainment provided by DJ Harry Butler and the Party Putt golf! Although some rain started to fall we did luckily get a window to get some fab pics of the new Mr and Mrs McFarlane as well! Four fantastic speeches followed by a completely packed dance floor where I may have also got in the thick of it for a bit of Sweet Caroline haha thanks boys, just glad my cameras survived that!! A lovely father daughter dance then finished what was a wonderful day spent with a fantastic group of people. Thank you both so much for asking me to be a part of your day! A huge thank you as well must go to for all his help on the day, especially with my voice not lasting more than a sentence!! Hugely appreciated Jony! ❤️
