A farewell tea🤍

Last week we had the privilege of catering a farewell tea in Lauceston for a very special lady🫶🏼

With the endless options to choose from everyone enjoyed our wide spread from savoury to sweet! The never ending debate of scones the cornish way or the devon way (that’s why we do both😉) kept everyone talking, with most leaving with a goody bag to take home!

August dump🌻

With every weekend jam packed with events august kept us on our toes! 🤪

Weekend 1 - It kicked off with a cowboy themed birthday, cocktail & pizza night at The Farm Maid Farm Shop 🤠
Weekend 2 - Was a Lemon themed baby shower The Farm Maid Farm Shop! the perfect combination of sweet and savoury for this one, our homemade pasties and sausage rolls, a selection of open sandwiches, scones savoury and sweet and to finish lemon posset perfect fit with the theme🍋
Weekend 3 - Back over the road again at a local 3 day rewilding event🦉 serving breakfast lunch and tea for science magazine! We got some amazing feedback on our lovely local produce especially our burgers😋
Weekend 4&5 - Focus turned back to The Bulleid Buffet and The Farm Maid Farm Shop ☕️
As always breakfasts were flying out of both cafes!!
The pizza nights in Polzeath were keeping the campers coming back for more🍕
And The girls in Okehampton were smashing it with our homemade cakes, keeping all the passengers from going hungry! Thank you team💚

Then it was time to prep for September….💒

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs King🤴🏼

It was an absolute pleasure to be asked by our friends, Robyn Moyse and Johnny, to serve the food on their big day💒

We warmed the guests with some hearty canapés while they sheltered from the rain, before sitting down to a farmers favourite, ploughman’s lunch, and a trio of the couples favourite desserts to finish! It was soon then home time to go and get ready to go back for the epic party🕺

Better late than never…. a July recap👩🏼‍🍳

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Banbury💒
James and Hannah had the most gorgeous day which was matched perfectly with our BBQ banquet from mini slider cheese burgers & mini spicy bean burgers to BBQ corn on the cob’s & hearty mixed leaf salads, plates were empty and bellies were most definitely full😋

Followed by 3 days of catering breakfast, lunch and tea at a local rewilding event🐿️

Event season is well underway! 2 Weddings, 2 Cafes and a 3 day catering event, july was a busy one and august has been no different!! i’ll start writing our august recap now and it might get posted before christmas🤪🤣

Another beautiful wedding at Wooladon Estate last friday!
With some gorgeous weather during the day our fish and chip canapés were perfect for the occasion and enjoyed by all the guests, along with a selection of sweet and savoury canapés served alongside to keep everyone’s stomachs lined ready for the amazing party in the evening!🐠💐🎤
