Claudia’s Nana meant so much to her, so it was a real honour to make her a part of the dress, for Claudia to treasure forever ✨

I gave Claudia an off cut of her wedding dress fabric to take to her Nana, who then wrote her special message using a pen that is removable with heat. I could then embroider over her handwriting and stitch this piece of fabric to the lining of Claudia’s wedding dress. We placed it by the hand loop at the end of the train of the dress, so that when Claudia looped this over her hand, the message was clear for all to see 💛

Every wedding dress that’s handmade has their own story to tell and I love this detail of Claudia’s 🥹

This is the part of my dress that was the most special and that’s what I adore about making wedding dresses, the little things that make a dress feel truly yours.

It may seem a tiny detail but it tells my story in so many different ways and that’s what your dress should be about. That is what will fill you with confidence and comfort when wearing it on your wedding day 🥰

This dress is always a reminder to me of what you can do with 6 weeks to go until the wedding date and you’re 7 months pregnant 😅 so thrilled that I could fulfil Briony’s dream of having the dress she wanted, even with the small timeframe. Anything is possible with a dressmaker 🪡
