Where do I start with the wonderful Jess 🤩 they say a photo speaks a thousand words and it couldn’t be truer for these two ✨ so much joy and love, which sums up exactly how it felt to make a dress for Jess.

Jess chose Rosemary, with buttons falling all the way down the back of the skirt and a lace back - simply perfect for her 🌸

Life lately ✨

The first couple of months of this year were very much about hibernation and getting my head down at starting all the beautiful dresses I have to make. And now with March and the start of Spring, it signifies the start of lots of excitement and little joys to come 💛

1. There’s nowhere quite like this little studio 🏡
2. Went on a weekend away with my Mumma to Rye, mainly to visit the best fabric shop my absolute heaven
3. Finally got seed planning 🌸
4. Well deserved after climbing a big hill with those little legs
5. The dunes of Camber Sands 🌊
6. The craziest sky and my own pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 🥰

It’s the busiest time of the year for me right now, where I am in the thick of lots of making, fittings and meeting new brides ✨ it’s such a gorgeous time seeing so many wedding dresses coming to life and seeing my brides faces when they try it on for the first time 🥰🥰

It’s more than just a dress for us at Sophie Rose Bridal 💛 it’s about something that will become a treasured heirloom, with love, joy and special memories sewn into every part of it.

Just like Claudia’s wedding gown from last year, whose Nana couldn’t make it to her fitting appointments so I gave them an off cut for her to write a message on for Claudia. I then embroidered over her handwriting and stitched it into her dress so it will forever be a part of her wedding story 🥰

Spring, it’s going to be here SO soon and with it, those glorious Spring weddings 😍🌷☀️🌾

I think we can all feel it in the air and see it in the little snowdrops poking their heads up and tulips slowly but surely making their way in the garden! It’s my favourite time of year, I can’t wait for this years weddings to start and for you to see what I’ve been working on since last year and of course, my beautiful, wonderful brides 🥰

Did you know that the majority of my staple fabrics are sustainable? Meaning they are produced in ways that protects the environment, which can be achieved by protecting our planets water resources, using plant fibres, recycling unwanted fabric that would have otherwise gone to landfill, being biodegradable and more.

This means that Sophie Rose wedding dresses are both kind to Mother Nature and feel incredibly beautiful to wear. YOU’RE WELCOME 🥰🥰

Photo 1, 7 & 8: Heavy Crepe - made from recycled fabrics that would have ended up in landfill.

Photo 2 and 3: Linen - one of the most natural fabrics out there! Made from literal flowers and using very little water to create, the dream 🌾

Photo 4: Dobby Spot - GOTS approved fabric, made from spilt milk from organic dairy farms, which is then fermented and respun to create this super soft spot fabric. Who knew milk could create something so beautiful?!

Beth in her custom gown for her Christmas nuptials ✨ what a girl, what a dress 🫶

We started with Pearl as the base dress, but Beth wanted a floaty skirt with movement so we added a chiffon skirt and changed the sleeves to being chiffon to tie the whole look together. And just look at the outcome 🥰

And instead of going on honeymoon, Beth and Ryan decided to get a puppy the day after their wedding - my kind of people!

Ending the year with Alex and Charlie’s farm wedding from September 🥰☀️

Alex chose a custom Holly, wanting to keep the overall silhouette clean and effortless. Choosing a heavy crepe that had a beautiful weight and texture, that worked so well in the setting of their farm and having a lace back for a pop of detail ✨

What a year! Thank you to every bride who has chosen me to make their dress, I’ve loved crafting every single one 💛 see you all next year for more beautiful brides and dresses, I’m excited to see where it takes me. Loads of love for 2025 ###x

The new Sophie Rose Collection is here 🌸

Daisy, Juniper, Clementine, Peony, Dahlia and Olive make up the collection, which have been designed for brides who are wanting a wedding dress that is romantic, relaxed, comfortable and super special 🥰

As with the rest of my designs, they have been created with the knowledge that every bride is unique and they can be mix and matched together to create your perfect dress ✨

Every dress is made to order in our Hampshire studio and very excitingly, every Sophie Rose dress is now available to order online so wherever you are in the UK or worldwide, you can have a Sophie Rose design of your own. We also have some new accessories made from leftover fabric ready to order online too, keeping our processes as sustainable as possible 🌿
