HGV Mechanic | Oban

Are you a skilled mechanic who takes pride in your work? We’re looking for an experienced HGV & Plant Mechanic to join our team in Oban on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation - keeping our HGV fleet, quarry plant and machinery running at their best.

What you’ll be doing:
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles, plant and machinery
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Preventative maintenance to keep breakdowns to a minimum
• Supporting the wider team to keep things moving

What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in HGV and/or plant mechanics
• Strong fault-finding skills and a practical mindset
• Someone reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
• A positive, can-do attitude
