Argyll Resources Group is looking to grow the team with two exciting opportunities based in Oban.

🚛 HGV Driver (Full-time & Part-time)
No two days are the same. From tippers and concrete mixers to hook loaders, we're looking for adaptable drivers with a positive attitude and a clean driving licence who are ready to get stuck in and become part of a hardworking, supportive team.

⛏️ Quarry Operative – Soroba Quarry (Full-time)
We're also looking for a reliable and hardworking Quarry Operative to join our team. This varied, hands-on role includes general yard duties, supporting day-to-day quarry operations and assisting the wider team, with opportunities for plant machinery training for the right candidate.

Previous experience is beneficial but not essential – we're looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn.

HGV Mechanic | Oban

Are you a skilled mechanic who takes pride in your work? We’re looking for an experienced HGV & Plant Mechanic to join our team in Oban on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation - keeping our HGV fleet, quarry plant and machinery running at their best.

What you’ll be doing:
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles, plant and machinery
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Preventative maintenance to keep breakdowns to a minimum
• Supporting the wider team to keep things moving

What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in HGV and/or plant mechanics
• Strong fault-finding skills and a practical mindset
• Someone reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
• A positive, can-do attitude
