Whilst we are busy rehearsing & finishing Album number 2...Here is a throwback to Wayne & Adams first visit to the The Narrowboat Sessions back in 2022 with a very special, (for us), original song called 'The Fall'. We originally had 2 parts of a story with songs called 'The Game' & 'The Hunt'. However, our Friend, Mentor, & Producer Darren Pugh, suggested we make it a trilogy, to give the story a true ending! Anyway a couple of weeks later after an eventful Firepit / Drink session, 'The Fall' decided to write itself..... (I remember trying to keep up with my pen!) It eventually became a Piano based song on the Album, but here's how it was originally written, on Guitar. Adams vocal is particularly incredible, as he brings this story to life with real emotion...& a great Rap segment!

We have had The Raw Collective on board several times now in a different guise every time but the constant throughout has always been the rich, melifluous voice of Adam Clark coupled with the superbly penned songs of Wayne Kelly (on the right). This year they brought Dayle Allen with them from Rutland to accompany them on Bass and he certainly did add the gravitas that the songs deserved. Their third exquisite piece for us by Wayne was his superb 'If', a song of multiple 'One Line Songs' about life and experiences. Tonight we see the second song from the latest incarnation of The Raw Collective with Adam Clark on vocals, Dayle Allen on Bass and Wayne Kelly on BV's and Guitar. We always know that it's going to be a great session with these guys as Adam has a superb voice, Wayne's song writing skills are excellent and this time they have the once missing ingredient of a great Bass player.
