The 2022 wedding season is properly underway now and I’ve just come off the back of a triple header… still feeling the effects of the Covid postponements with another jam packed year. But I’m super pumped about it!

Ella & Sam’s big day was a great way to get it all kicked off again, looking forward to sharing more from this day as well as the many others I have lined up over next few months.

As you can imagine 2020 has been an absolutely brutal year for my business, so the news that I was awarded West Midlands Photographer of the Year at The Wedding Industry awards for the second year running has blown my flipping mind!

To top it off I was also Highly Commended in the Videography Category, the only Videographer in the country to be awarded that!

Obviously the awards ceremony was a little different this year with no swanky event in our best clobber, but getting to watch in my PJs, beer in hand next to my wife Jade (and then dancing around the living room together in celebration) made it that little bit more special.

Thank you so much to all my past couples that voted for me, you guys really are bloomin' awesome.

To all my 2020 couples that have had to postpone, your day will come and just imagine how much of an epic party you will all have when we are finally let loose!!!!! I can't wait to capture your stories!

Maaaaaaan I miss my job! But how lucky am I to even be able to utter that phrase, so to all my couples past/present/future thank you so much for entrusting me to capture the biggest days of your life and allowing me to continue this job that I love!

We will get through this, see you on the other side!

Hey up, been a while right?

Maaaaaan I miss capturing weddings but I hope everyone is staying safe and taking this time to enjoy it with their family...and participating in 3645648 FaceTime Pub quizzes.

In the meantime here is a throwback to last year, Rachel & Harvey's awesome DIY wedding on the family farm. These guys truly did it their way and did not allow the pressure of tradition to influence how they wanted to spend their big day.

They got ready together in the morning, had a wonderful humanist ceremony in the woods (that had been planted by Harvey's Father by the way!) and then partied the day and night away in a Teepee. No speeches or sit down meal, these guys had a badass BBQ and their own private festival! Can't argue with that right!?

I ONLY WENT AND RUDDY WON IT!!!!!

Blooming delighted to be awarded the West Midlands Wedding Photographer of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards. I’ve been coveting this award ever since I began this crazy photography journey so it completely blew my mind when my name was read out at the awards last night!!!

A massive massive thank you to all my couples that voted and left their feedback, you guys really do ROCK! I honestly have the best couples in the world and it has been a true honour to capture your stories.
