⚠️ Last few tickets for Xtreme Scream Park 👻

This Friday 16th October we're heading to Twinlakes for an early Halloween night out at one of the UK's top scare attractions. Seven scare attractions, rides, street theatre and a bar, all just over 30 minutes from Nottingham.

Tickets are tiered and the price goes up the closer we get, so if you've been on the fence, now's the time. Sarah, Adam and Waq will meet everyone in the courtyard from 6:30pm, so nobody has to face the scares alone.

🍽️ From the archives: Thursday, 3rd September 2026 at The Botanist (West Bridgford).

Moonlit blossom, cocktails and fourteen of us with a paintbrush in West Bridgford

Fourteen of us took over the private area at the back of The Botanist in West Bridgford, put the usual round of drinks to one side for an hour or two, and had a go at painting a moonlit blossom tree.

Sip & Paint has turned into one of our most popular evenings and this one filled up quickly again. It is easy to see why. You walk in, there is an easel, a lamp, a palette and a blank canvas, and all you have to do is follow along and enjoy.

Tomorrow we're back at the Malt Cross for Board Games Night, and there's still room at the table.

Forget long, serious rounds of Monopoly. Adam brings a box of quick-to-learn, properly fun games (think Codenames: Pictures, Just One and King of Tokyo) and explains everything as we go. Six of us are already booked in, so you'll be walking into a friendly group from the start.

Hear it from our members 🙌

I joined Affinity to broaden my friendship group following a breakdown of a long term relationship and it has not disappointed. I feel comfortable attending alone, the people I have met have welcomed me and I have found everyone very friendly.

I love the wide choice of activities.

My diary is now very full and I look forward with anticipation to having many more laughs and making great memories.

Limbo, karaoke and a proper Hawaiian twist: our Summer Surf Party LFM in Nottingham

Affinity members brought a splash of the tropics to the city on Friday evening for our Last Friday of the Month social, held this July at The Embankment's Hawaiian Surf Party. Bright colours, floral shirts and a warm summer buzz set the tone from the moment people arrived at 7pm, and with our LFM socials being completely free it made for an easy, feel-good way to kick off the weekend.

Our hosts Claire and Tünde had everyone chatting and settled in no time, which is exactly what these evenings are all about.
