Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting Homeless FC at The Football Yard, and it was an experience that went far beyond football.

This is more than a game it’s about community, hope, and opportunity. For many of these players, football is not just a sport, but a lifeline: a chance to build friendships, create purpose, and find belonging. Their story is powerful. After entering a league, they were faced with the heartbreaking reality of not being able to continue due to homelessness.

That’s where Podfirstuk stepped in providing sponsorship, a kit, and a ground to play on. A gesture that transformed despair into possibility.

We are honoured to stand alongside them on this journey. To witness the resilience, passion, and spirit of these players is truly inspirational. This movement is bigger than football it’s about showing what happens when a community comes together to uplift one another.

We are proud to have been a part of this moment and are excited to host and play with Homeless FC again in the future.

Another busy weekend here at The Football Yard ⚽🙌

We kicked things off with our Tots & Development Saturday sessions – always a highlight seeing the little ones learning and enjoying the game 💛

Then it was straight into party mode! 🎉

Rohan’s Champions League Party was a huge success with 19 guests joining in the fun!

We also hosted Zach’s Premiership Party – another brilliant celebration full of football, smiles, and memories. 😀

We love weekends like these – full of football, fun, and fantastic energy! ⚡

What a weekend here at The Football Yard ⚽️⚽️

First up Saturday was Charlie's Champions league party where he recieved his Football Yard kit along with brand new Premiership Football and his birthday Trophy 🏆 90 minutes of football then 60 minutes in our party room after 🙌😎

Sunday we welcomed Shay for his Premiership party where he recieved his bday Trophy 🏆 along with 60 minutes of football and 60 minutes in our party room. 🥳🥳🥳

We also hosted a Charity Football tournament in between for good measure ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
