There’s something rather brilliant about a child not realising that the “nice lady” setting up their party is actually the princess they’re about to meet… 👀👑
This little birthday girl thought Sophie was simply getting everything ready for her 5th birthday party.
She had NO idea that Princess Aurora was about to make her grand entrance. 😂
And judging by this lovely review, Aurora certainly made an impression…

I absolutely love the behind-the-scenes bit of this. Our entertainers often arrive in plenty of time to get everything set up, so the children can see them pottering about… but they certainly don’t need to know who is hiding underneath all that party preparation! 😆
Then comes the reveal… and suddenly that “nice lady” has transformed into Princess Aurora. 👑
Sophie did a brilliant job keeping the secret and then getting stuck into the party, keeping the children involved from that first big reveal right through to the end.

This week’s Magic Monday shoutout goes to the girl who traded her voice for legs and never looked back. 🐚

Ariel is proof that curiosity is a superpower. She’s the princess who asks “why not?” instead of “why,” and kids pick up on that instantly — she’s brave, she’s a bit stubborn, and she’s endlessly kind. Parents love booking her because she brings warmth and energy into a room without ever being over the top.

Ask any of our entertainers and they’ll tell you: singing “Part of Your World” to a room of wide-eyed three-year-olds never stops being magic.

🎓🪩 **Nursery Graduation at Little Owls!** 🪩🎓

Had a lovely morning at **Little Owls Nursery in Carlton** for their Nursery Graduation — and what a way to celebrate those soon-to-be school starters! 🥹🎓

We had dancing, music, games and plenty of very enthusiastic little people throwing themselves into the fun. 😂🕺💃

There’s something quite funny about watching a room full of nursery children attempting to follow instructions… one minute everyone is doing exactly what they’re supposed to, and the next someone has decided they’re going to do their own thing and the rest just follow them! 🤣

And of course, there were plenty of proud grown-ups watching on as their little ones showed off their best dance moves. ❤️

It really doesn’t seem five minutes ago that these children were starting nursery, and now they’re getting ready for the big leap into **Reception**. 🎒📚

A huge well done to all the Little Owls leavers — you’ve got this! 🌟

We’ve been entertaining children across Nottingham and the East Midlands for **13 years**, from nursery graduations and school discos to birthday parties, festivals and big family events.

And yes… after 13 years, we’ve learnt that children’s parties rarely go *exactly* to plan. That’s half the fun! 😂

Well... this review completely made my day. 🥹💜

When Lola's family booked one of our two-hour disco parties, they told me they'd been to some of our character parties before but had never seen one of our discos. I did wonder what they'd think...

Thankfully, it sounds like they enjoyed it! 😄

One of my favourite moments was definitely Lola's reaction when Teenage Dirtbag came on. Safe to say that song choice went down very well! 🎶😂

The dance floor was full from the first song until the very last. We squeezed in disco games, dancing, jokes, a snow machine, loads of laughs and plenty of little surprises along the way. Before long, the parents were joining in too, which always makes for an even better atmosphere.

One comment from the review really stood out to me:

"At most parties their children come back to them every 10 minutes, but at ours they barely saw them because they were so engaged the entire time."

That's exactly what I aim for. Children having so much fun that parents actually get a chance to enjoy a chat, grab a cuppa or simply watch their little ones having the best time.
Thank you so much for trusting me with Lola's 5th birthday and for taking the time to write such a detailed review. Reading messages like this after a busy weekend really does put a smile on my face.
And yes... I laughed at the line "I genuinely don't know how we'll top it next year!" Challenge accepted... although I can't make any promises! 😉🎉
