On the 11th May myself and friends are participating in a dragon boat race! 🫣 I personally HATE boats! But I am prepared to overcome that to raise some money for DKMS.
A little bit about it:
Every 20 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. Often their only hope of survival is a stem cell transplant from a stranger and DKMS works hard to add as many potential lifesavers to the blood stem cell registry as possible. The money I raise will add more potentially life-saving matches to this register, as adding each one costs DKMS £40, and give more blood cancer patients a second chance at life.

You don’t have to donate, but it would be much appreciated if you did!

So in May 2024 I shall be entering a boat race and raising money for this fabulous cause!
I’ve literally never In my life done one of these, let alone rowed a boat! 🤣🤣 but I am gonna have a good go! If I end up overboard it will still be worth it! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Tonight whilst Santa is on his rounds we shall be having a disco from 7pm! Everybody welcome including children! (As long as they are on the “nice” list!)

It’s also remembrance Sunday!
